By far the best tubes I have ever purchased, bought 5 but have not had a flat yet, with lesser tubes, one flat a week. will never buy a cheap tube again!

These are solid, reliable tubes with a nice smooth valve. The key is the solid a reliable part. Bargain tubes tend to fail at the valve stem - a leak that cannot be fixed. I have not had this sort of problem with Michellin A1 Airstops.

I use these because they are one of the only tubes that does not have threads on the outside of the valve. There are a few threads on the end but not so that your pump gets hung on them. I have had a problem with all my pumps grabbing the threads on the valve making it hard to remove the pump and a few times tearing the valve off the tube. I never have this problem and I have no idea why the other tubes have threads. It is a ridiculous waste of time and manufacturing to do this, yet it seems the companies are oblivious to it. like Michelin tires and I use them on my bike. Usually the Pro Race 3 I want to try the Pro Race 4. Currently I am using a tougher tire by Michelin that cost less but has worn very well. I used to use Michelin on my car when it was more expensive than my bike. I had a Jag X type.

I decided to change to this tube so that I wouldn't need to pump up my tires every week or so to hold 110-120 pounds pressure. These have been installed for about a month now, and the pressure is holding. So... it is doing what I wanted, and the ride is comfortable, and no flats so far. Excellent tube!

What can I say? They hold air, don't weight too much, are pre-powdered and don't cost much. I like the smooth presta stem that doesn't chew up the rubber on my pump.

Nice basic tube. I like the smooth valve as it does not tear up my silca pump head gasket.

I've used these tubes for years for all-around training and fast touring. (I use Continental Grand Prix 4000 tires.) I love the durability that comes with the few extra grams - I've literally ridden entire seasons without a flat! I also love the smooth stems (longer stem available for deep rims). The non-threaded stem design means your pump gets a good seal with no air leak, and it's easy to slip the pump head on and off.

I put these tubes in with new Vredestein Tri Comps each year - great reliable combination for 2000 plus miles year

Good tubes, they do seem to hold air longer than the cheap rubber tubes they replaced. The only drawback for me is that since the stem isn't threaded there's no nut to hold it into place, so it can be a little harder to get the pump on when the tube is flat. Though some people may prefer the smooth stem since it can be a little easier on pumps.

This is actually the first time I've used these tubes. I've been using the lighter ones in the blue box. I had good luck with them but after a rogue thorn caused 5 flats in 5 rides I decided to try these bc of their added thickness. So
i can't say so far exactly what I think but I'm sure I'll continue to buy them bc I like the Michelin brand.

I like the smooth stems because they don't tear up the grommet in my floor pump.
The tubes are plenty lightweight enough. Too light and I get more punctures.

Michelin is one of the few tubes with smooth (unthreaded) valves, so they don't chew up tire pumps like the threaded ones can. The tubes themselves are light and strong, I haven't noticed any greater number of flats than with comparable or heavier tubes.

not impressive.

I have ridden these tubes for the past couple of years and have been very satisfied. The bond between the valve and tube never fails (a very common problem) and the valve has a nice, clean look. I like the anti-stick powder that comes on the tubes. When installing, this powder helps the tube to slide properly into place. In the past I had to pre-treat tubes with talc to get the same effect. I am a little surprised that other reviewers find this tube hard to patch. I have put a lot of patches on these tubes over the years and have only had the patch fail when I did a poor job (i.e. I was in a hurry). As with any tube, you need to thoroughly wipe off the area to be patched, rough up the area with a bit of sand paper, and let the glue dry for a few minutes before applying the patch.

I love this tube because it does not lose pressure over time like most tubes do. If you don't ride for a week, the tire pressure will be almost what it was on your last ride. This saves me the time and hassle of putting air in the tires every time I ride. I like that.
However, I've discovered that there is a downside. They cannot be patched effectively. If you get a puncture, just throw it away. Patches will leak no matter how carefully they are applied. I know riders that refuse to ride patched tubes anyway, so if this is you, it's a great tube.

The butyl isn't the lightest but it's pretty sturdy for daily use and I don't have to fuss with valve extenders on my carbon wheels. I like that they are pretty durable and have smooth valve stems so my pump doesn't get chewed up. They hold air well and last quite a long time for me.

Reliable quality and competitively priced. They last and last but replacement is eventually necessary. It's not if but when.

I had a lot of bad luck with the tubes I was getting from my local bike shop and decided I needed to find something more reliable. I did a bit of research and chose to try out this tube-it was well-regarded and came at a price that made it worth the trial. Good thing I ordered them, a couple days after they arrived, I had a flat and needed to put one on. Since then I haven't had any issues. They hold pressure pretty well and they're lightweight. I like the smooth valve, too. It seems to work better with various pumps. I plan to use this tube from now on.

The tubes are of a good quality and an equally good price. I use them all the time.
