I've been wearing Kask helmets the last several years, and I was going to buy one of my favorite helmets again, the Kask Mojito. Unfortunately, they must have changed the back of the cradle because it caused a painful pressure point on the back of my head. Even the next size up did as well. So, I thought I'd try something different and got this Met. I guess I didn't think it thru that it was an aero helmet until I got it home. After leaving it sit in the box for a month or so, I decided to go against my gut and try it instead of returning it.

I should have listened, because it's warm just like I suspected it would be. It fits smaller than my Kasks of the same size and one of my other favorites, the unfortunately discontinued Bell Z20.

The Good: It's comfortable and the straps sit flat against my head with zero wind noise. It looks good on and has a low profile.

The Bad: It's warmer than any other helmet I've had at any price range. I guess I'll wear it on cooler days below 70 degrees. I certainly wouldn't climb or do long days with it. Another annoying thing is if you have it upside-down before flipping it on, the cradle will ratchet down to its smallest size on its own, so you have to hold the cradle in place while putting on or set it on your head and then open the cradle again.

I guess I don't understand the aero helmet thing. Unless you're a Pro and need every ounce of speed, it's a worthless feature. The Kask Mojito and Valegro, are MUCH better helmets and better values. I also am a fan of Kasks' helmets designs and philosophies, as opposed to helmets with MIPS.

If you "need" an aero helmet (you don't), this could be a decent option but know it runs warmer than a non-aero helmet and I'd rather have a cool head, than the supposed aero gains. Live and Learn I guess. At least I have an over-priced winter helmet now.

It's an upgrade from my previous helmet. Better fit and lighter weight.

This helmet fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Chin strap is easy to adjust as well. I wold highly recommend this helmet.

Fits well, looks great

Sweet spot of: aero, venting, looks better than most helmets, at a decent price.

I really like this helmet, fits well, comfortable and allows a hat underneath. I measure exactly 58cm, but got a large as I didn't want it too small with a hat. I have had many helmets, giro mostly, they fit me well, but also, limar, Rudy and Abus, the Met fits most like a Giro.

I've been cycling for many, many years and this is the most comfortable and best fitting helmet I've ever stuck in my head. Looks really good too. I also got a great price on BTD.
