I ride this tire front and back and i monster truck over everything, my opinion it climbs better than the Assegai, although they both have top rated climbing properties

The DHF was as standard on my front for years. And only got better when they made it wide. Would not consider another tire to lead me in and out of corners. The tall sides lugs dig in deep with confidence.

After riding Maxxis tires now for a couple of years, I have to say I've become a convert. Road the Aggressors last year, which were good, but wanted something a bit chunkier.

The DHF's are an awesome tire for our mixed conditions here in the Northeast, handling everything from wet rocks and roots, to loose to loose-over-hard terrain with ease. They climb and descend well, even at speed and rarely slip. Super robust, handling a beating in rock and root gardens without so much as a wimper. In the three months of riding I've done on these, - 1,000 miles, they still look like new - no cracks, tread wear, or anything. Mount very easily. And at Bike Tires prices, these are well worth the investment.

I bought this to replace my worn out front tire. Great price from biketiresdirect, mounted and set up tubeless perfectly. I ride rough nasty trails here in Phoenix, AZ. This tire gives excellent traction, its mostly loose on hardpack, jagged rocks, Cactus, & dry conditions, not a tire friendly environment! About 400 miles on it so far, no rips tears or holes!
