I put these on my specialized levo comp. It made it really smooth for riding to work

Very low rolling resistance but very easy low road hazard resistance. Got 3 flats on 3 bike trips. Even the smallest piece of hair like wire made the tire go flat. No center tire tread resistance. Have changed tire brand since.

Well I thought I mighta made a mistake but after a few daze I felt better and I'm getting used to the tyres.
They are much bigger than my stock kenda tires. Much harder to push at first. Took some getting used to. I do feel some drag. But once I get going they're fine and I can really go faster now and the bike is much more stable now too. I can come into our driveway full speed off the street and I can feel the tyres grabbing the concrete didn't feel that before. The tyres are smoother, bigger, and really look bad ass on my bike.
They might take a couple days of getting used to. I think I'm getting a better work out too pushing them .... I'm happy I bought them thank you bike tires direct!

This is a great product to convert my mtb to a street cruiser. Smooth rolling and a lot of fun. Just don't try to run them in the woods :)

Love these tires (29x2.5). Once you get them mounted (not as easy as most tires) they are excellent all-around urbanpavement tires. I use them mostly to ride to work and paved Rail-Trials. I did try them on sand and dirt and it was impossible to turn properly, front tire would slide. I have 29mm ID rims bringing the overall width of this tire to 66.8 mm, 2.6 inches 65psi. This left about a 14 clearance on each side of my 2019 Kona Honzo Hardtail. So far I have a little over 200 miles on them with no problems. Love the ride. These tires stomp the small road debris.

I converted an old GS29 mountain bike into a street rider. I added a 750 W electric motor with a 52 tooth front sprocket, air front forks and disc brakes. A 1000 watt 52 volt battery provides the juice. This baby flies !! These tires handle awesomely on the straights and especially in the curves. The roads in my town are not very smooth.

These tires are thicker and heavier than the G-ones that came off my class 3 e-bike. They are much more resistant to flats and handle 28 mph no problem. I have over 1000 miles on them now and they have hardly worn. I will be sticking with these tires.

I ride my mountain bike to work each day, switching to these tires make a big difference riding on the pavement. They roll fast and hold up well. Once I wear these out, I'm buying another pair.

Converted my 2018 Trek Marlin 6 from a trail bike to a urban commuter. These tires work very well with the front suspension shocks. Installing a rear cargo rack with Topeak storage trunk. I researched a lot of urban bike tires and by far these Maxxis Hookworms 29x2.50 were recommended by a lot of people. As soon as I installed I went for a 20 mile ride very impressed with the handing and ride comfort. Rolling resistance was very good noticed that I was able to glide for a long distance compared to the Bontrager XR2 and my pair of Kenda Kwick Nine Sport urban tires.

Sellers seldom display the PSI rating for any bicycle tire, so I will. It rolls easy and has extraordinary grip. If you want a tire that is wide and offers traction with a large variety of surface types, then this is your tire! It rolls well over grass, dry or wet dirt, muddy caliche, small rocks, and yes - wet or dry smooth concrete or asphalt. It's a gripper.

Exactly what my son was looking for, at the best price, shipped quick. His big flyer is slick.

It's printed right on the tire to inflate to 65 PSI - something sellers don't print on their websites.
These tires are great! They grip and roll very well over pavement, grass, and wet earth that's ridable.

I have a Trek Marlin 7 (2019) and these fit just fine. They are definitely heavier than the original nubby tires that came with the bike but I have absolute confidence they'll hold up for a long long time and I'm faster with them because of the smooth rolling surface.

The shipping took about a week and a half and the tires really work well

I like these tires on my Trek Marlin 6 . They are very grippy and wide for street use. Just wish they came in a slightly more narrower profile like 2.20 or 2.30
