This is a decent shoe overall. I actually like the not carbon stiff sole. It's still plenty stiff enough for the riding I do. My complaint is primarily how the shoe fits. It really runs small length wise, but what is really troublesome is the toe box lack of vertical height for one's toes. The insoles are very thick. I actually can't use the shoe with the Mavic insoles in place. The only way the shoe is comfortable for my toes is to ride without the insoles. Even with a Sidi super thin insole instead of the thicker Mavic one, I can't really use an insole in the shoe because it pushes the top of my toes into the top of the shoe box. Kinda weird. All of this said, it's a great looking shoe, very lightweight and for what I paid for them, a decent, though really, just an "OK" shoe. Mostly fits my limited needs, but Mavic can and should do much better, even at this low price point IMHO.

The Mavic road shoe is very nice looking but the size runs small. I ordered a 12.5 US and it fits like an 11 US. Very short shoe.

Very nice shoe for the BTD price. Suggested retail price is a bit on the steep side. I like the shoe in every way except for the slightly too tight fit on my left foot. Apparently my left foot is slightly wider than my right foot. It most likely wouldn't bother me if I didn't have sciatica. I think a little more padding in a slightly wider shoe would help tremendously. I have only used them twice. Once on a 58 mile ride and on a 37 mile ride. I had to stop for a bit at about 49 miles on the 58 mile ride because my left foot became quite uncomfortable. The 37 mile ride was not bad. I like to go for 75 mile + rides on occasion, so these won't work on those rides for me. Right shoe has been no problem for me yet. Will look for something a little more comfortable for the longer rides.

These shoes fit like a glove & are very comfortable. 442/3 - 101/2. Mavic has good sizing.

I have trouble fitting most shoes & 442/3 is a perfect fit for me. Not too many shoe companies offer specific sizing like Mavic.

I would definitely buy again.

I was dreadfully in need of an affordable and effective shoe replacement. These shoes combine affordability with comfort and Boa technology. Great shoes that enhance the riding experience. You won't be sad you ordered a pair!

These shoes are pretty well made and could very well last for a long time. The problem I have with these shoes is they are too tight in the toe box area and make my feet hurt a lot after about 40 miles. If they had a little give to them, were a little looser in the toe area and had a little more cushioning they would be really great shoes. They are very minimalistic though.

I am loving the boa dial. First boa shoe for me. Easy to adjust on the go.

Using these with Speedplay zero pedals and really like them. They fit true to size.
