Mavic Excellence.
The Mavic Ksyrium (so far ridden a couple hundred miles on them) is an incredible value buy, with great construction. The silent hub is a perk (if you like that sort of the thing) and their "instant-engage" technology in the freehub is pretty neat. You feel pretty much immediate engagement of the wheel. They feel strong, comfortable, but not the fastest. However, I have the feeling these things are indestructible. So far so good!
