Road Biking, nothing about them that I didn't like......great shorts

I ride in a mostly hilly terrain, rollers, climbs, and fast descents. The bib short remains in place without any chamois discomfort or chaffing.

Outstanding comfort, support, and looks! Easily comparible to many pricier bibs.

I've been riding my bike for over 10 years now and generally put in about 4000-6000 miles a year as I commute to work by bike. My preferred shorts have been by Pearl Izumi, Castelli or Voler but I decided, based on all of the positive reviews of these shorts, to try these out. I've been extremely unimpressed. I'm literally having to bathe the chamois in a thick layer of chamois cream to prevent the nasty chaffing I've experienced on the rides when I didn't completely soak it. This has got to be the least comfortable short I've ridden in which is really unfortunate since they are certainly nice looking and otherwise fits comfortably although a bit tight in the upper thigh area due to the nature of the compression material. Wondering if a larger size might have worked better but I followed the size guide as I'm a 31 waist, 6, 160 lbs and ordered the small size.

I ride about about 3x a week and these are my go to bibs. I have worn them in mostly warm temps (70 Degrees F or higher). They breathe well and don't slip or get too uncomfortable. The are comfortable on longer rides as well (3 hours)

Overall a very comfortable bib short. Straps do not cut into shoulders and chamois gives you the support you need without binding up or pinching. Great on longer rides as well.

I liked these as much as anybody for the first 5-6 rides, then not so much. There is a perforation at the rear of the inner chamois cover which tore between perforations, splitting the cover for several inches. On the same ride, the chamois beneath also split, rendering the shorts worthless. I'm probably going to ship them back to Garneau to see if they will stand behind these shorts, but am not holding my breath.

My go to bib short for long rides. I also have a set of Asso bib's and the LG are still my favorite at about half the price.

I have ridden with these shorts several times on 20-30 mile rides. They are OK for that distance but not great. I am comparing them to more expensive Castelli Free Aero bib shorts in which the material feels thinner and less noticeable, the straps are less noticable and the pad is more comfortable. I have not found anything that compares to the Castelli.

Best shorts per dollar I have found. Fits true to the sizing chart. I definitely recommend these shorts for serious cyclists!

Comfort, support, and they look great! I own several different styles from different manufacturers (Trek, Pearl, Nike, Squadra, Castelli)...best shorts I have ever owned.

Fits body tight with good support and padding. I did get saddle abrasion when mtn. biking. Works fine on the road bike.

These bib shorts are Pro looking and fit and in terms of quality craftemanship, IMHO, ranks up there with Castelli and Capo high end. Priced just right.

I really like the fit of these bibs. The chamois is just right, don't like a bulky feel. I will commute 20 miles round trip every day and these work great. Last long trip was an 80 miler and they were very nice to wear. I enjoy the tight fit of the so called muscle compression construction.

I now have three pairs of these bibs!
The price was what originally drew me to them, but now after riding 3k with them, the fit, Cham, and compression are all stellar.
Having skinny legs, I have a hard time finding shorts that are a tight fit around the knees, these bibs have a great tapper, and awesome compression fit, that seems design for my body type. The Cham is comfy and not terribly bulky.
They are a little on the hot side, the thickness of the straps could be a little thinner and the LG decal's on the legs come off easily, but these are really my only complaint.
Overall a great set of bibs at a good price!

I like the slightly longer length of these bibs. Very good value. I have three of these, and they've held up pretty well.

I'm 5-10 about 190 and I get size large bib. Fits well. Excellent. Tight in your thighs so it does not move when you ride. Chamois is great for long rides. Very comfortable. I think is superior than Pearl Izumi in quality and comfort.

Front of the bib is a little high and the fabric is heavier than other bibs which makes this a good choice for fall and winter wear, but I found it too warm for summer in San Diego. Good fit, good chamois and comfortable on 50 milers but I have put mine away until it cools off.

I love these shorts. The compression fit is great with the panels and flat lock stitching. I also love the non gripper power bands. Definitely more comfortable than silicone or other type leg grippers. Most comfortable pair of bibs I own to date. The chamois was also superb till the top sheet became unglued after about 3 rides and getting worse since. Perfect amount of padding and especially comfortable around the thighs where I can experience too much rubbing. I contacted Louis Garneau who have a 1 year warranty on the bibs and was told they will be sending an authorization number so I can return them for a replacement.
