I love these bibs. Great for long rides, very comfortable and wear them on my long rides. I am 6'-0, 190 lbs and bought x-large. The sizing chart says I would wear a large but it seems to me most cycling clothing seems to run alittle small. I like them so much I just bought another pair. For the money you can't go wrong.

Awesome shorts. The compression fit is wonderful and I especially like the extra leg length even though it results in more tan lines.

Bought these a week before riding the STP - 204 miles - and had zero butt sorness. I have never given my 2 cents on any of the riding clothing or equipment I purchase, but I always read the reviews. The reviews for these were good, but I am here to tell you, if you are into riding long rides get these. They are crazy inexpensive compared to those other companies that will charge more, but I am here to tell you they are much better. I am 6' 1 210lbs and got the XL and fit like a dream.

I have a 33-34 waist and bought the med. When I tried them on they seemed to small and I started to send them back. But I hate going thru the hassel so I decided to keep them. Boy,am I glade I did. After the first couple of miles the compression material of the bibs just seem to melt away except for the Power Band which felt GREAT. The pading is high quality and the right size. These are by far my fav's. The only "top end" bibs I own are PI's Elite,so these seem like the best ever.

Without being long winded
-great compression shorts at a good price
-more than a year of use and they still look great
-wide elastic portion on on bottom holds up better than any other short out there
-12 panel build a major look around, you won't find many
-excellent pad with no chafing, still looks new

Bought these from LBS for $20 more than here. Tried them on at home and could completely feel the difference in quality material, chamois and elasticity from my other shorts and bibs. The question next would be how they were when I rode luckily I had a planned ride the same night. Thats when I really felt they were well worth the money, never felt the chamois and barely felt the saddle for the first 25miles! I will deff get another pair as soon as need to replace one of my other pairs.

I know what you're thinking there's no way a bib short at this price point can be any good. I was thinking the same thing. But I found myself in Portland and so went to the warehouse store. I was having trouble with the fit of other, high end bibs like Craft Pro and DiMarchi Contour Evo. I literally looked and touched every bib biketiresdirect.com carries that I thought I could get past my wife--Capo, Assos, ProCorsa, more expensive Garneau's. I tried on the ones that looked super-well made with a great chamois for long miles on the road. I kept coming back to this one. Linda at BTD swore this was the sleeper short--super high quality but at a price that can't be beat. So I went with it over the Assos Assos FI. Uno S5 and have to say that she was spot on. I can ride this short for as long as my legs will go, and it remains super-comfortable. It has just the right amount of compression to stay where it should. It's so well designed it doesn't have and doesn't neeed silicone leg grippers. And it is about 60% of the price of what I almost got.
My only complaint so far with about a month of riding on them is that the seam stitching is pulling out in a few places. I'm not sure if it is my short or a general LG issue, but so far it hasn't been a big deal, and the shorts have a warranty that should be in place when I can make this call.
I am about 6'2" and 170 pounds and the large is a perfect fit.

I've had the highest-end Assos, Pearl Izumi, Giordana, Castelli, and about a dozen other brands of bib shorts over the years, and these are bar-none the best I've ever had for comfort on long rides of 3 hours. I just ordered another pair so I can alternate them daily to keep from having to do laundry so often.
I may even go ahead and get another couple of pair so I don't have to worry about them not being available in the future. -
I don't know how long they'll last, but so far they show no signs of wear at all. I launder them after every ride gentle cycle in a front-loading washer, and almost always hang them to dry.

These bibshorts were my first-ever Louis Garneau product purchase and I'm highly satisfied with their performance.
The 12-panel construction yields excellent fit, support, and comfort. The Air Zone design technology used for the chamois offers terrifc comfort for all the pressure points while in the saddle.
The unique muscle support compression technology built into these bibshorts is flat-out awesome. I immediately noticed the difference in how fresh my quads and hamstrings felt post-ride. The muscle compression technology truly seems to make a difference in the reduction of post-ride soreness.
I'd highly recommend this Louis Garneau product.

These shorts have a very comfortable chamois, a wide elastic leg gripper band that keeps the shorts in place. I bought the bibs which have comfortable straps that are correct length. I ride about 6500 miles a year, and these are the best buy that I have made since I started riding.

Great set of bibs while they lasted. I only got about 8 months out of these before the chamois separated and wadded up in the wash. These were worn on average twice a week and washed, gentle cycle, each time then hung to dry. I will replace with another brand.

I've only worn these bibs a few times but they have quickly moved to the top of my kit drawer. Fit great and true to size, compression without feeling restrictive, straps don't dig in or tug on shoulders, pad is excellent, etc. I'm going to up my game to keep pace with these bibs!

I use these bibs often, great compression and comfortable pad. Price is nice especially when on sale!

These LG bib shorts are really the best I have found. I appreciate the chamois construction in particular, but the overall design is good, with the bib straps being very non-irritating. They are comfortable even on long rides of 80-100 miles and are very effective at wicking moisture. The compression materials make them feel good and supportive.

I love these bib shorts and hope they never stop making them. I have tried shorts from all the big brands over the years(Pearl Izumi, Castelli, Sugoi, DeMarchi, Performance and others). These shorts are by far the best, they have a great fit that is accurate for US sizing and the lycra has just the right amount of compression. The shoulder straps are nice and wide which stay in place, very good breathable moisture wicking matetial and a very nice qaulity chamois. These shorts hold up great for me and I have actually worn out several pair in the last 2 years. I do wash my shorts only by hand though as I find repeat use of washing machines are very tough on cycling shorts! Lastly the price of these shorts is pretty good and consistent with other brands, I just wait until their on sale and then by a couple pair. ENJOY!

Living in Pittsburgh, I first used this product this past month on my winter training trip in Florida. This bib was extremely comfortable, the Lycra is about as nice as I've ever worn, and being a collegiate athlete, I've worn a lot of Lycra. The bands at the bottom of the legs were particularly nice, offering a little more compression.
I experienced some minor chafing from the chamois, which I attribute more to having been off the bike for several months due to injury than to the chamois construction, but I did find that my Specialized Body Geometry chamois is a little thicker and contoured better for my body. Regardless, I wore this bib for 324 miles, and think I prefer it over both my Specialized and definitely my Pearl Izumi bibs.

Great fit...comfortable...but marginal long term quality...comfortable for 6-8 months... and then the chamois separated into multiple pieces and shifted to one side...rendering the bibs useless. I launder after every ride on a gentle cycle...cold water...and always air dry...never been in the dryer. They were my favorite bibs until the chamois separation after only 6 - 8 months of use

I agree with other reviews that these are high quality bibs, comfortable and attractive. The one fault I found is that the material doesn't seem to breathe very well, so I only want to use them at cooler temps ( 65 degrees or less ) That said, I'm 6' 195lbs and tend to run hot. Chamois is very comfortable. I was between a large and XL on their size chart and choose the XL, which fits snug but fine. I believe they are compression shorts and should fit snug. All in all, I'm extremely pleased, especially at the less than [$] I paid for them! If not for the lack of breath ability I would buy 3 more pairs and be done with [$$] bib shorts.

This is my 3rd pair an I probably will order another pair in a couple of months. They are great for a long or short ride and are long lasting.

Comfortable, and this particular style fits well.
