I bought these for longer rides, and after using them on a few commutes, I can't wait to put more miles into them. I also have bibs from Santini, DeMarchi, Pearl Izumi, and race kits from Champion System and Mt. Borah The Louis Garneaus blow them all out of the water. The chamois is great, the leg compression is great, and the price they're listed at now ($111.99) is a steal. The straps are very comfortable and, like good bib shorts, become hardly noticeable. Prior to these, I tried a pair of Castelli Velocissimo bibs. While they were nice, they were cut too low for my taste and midsection. If you have washboard abs, you'll like them. If you don't, you'll appreciate the added support of the Garneaus.

I've worn'em all, I think. From budget house brands to Assos, Etxeondo, Santini, etc. I have my 2 hr bibs and my 6 hr bibs. Garneau Neo Power compares favorably with the best on comfort, and fit, but at a price closer to low end brands than their performance equivalents. I like the use of compression fabric much more than the narrow elastic strip at the leg opening used by nearly all other manufacturers. It not only prevents ride-up, it also supports better circulation and fatigue suppression.

I've been through several different bibs and shorts trying to find something that is comfortable. I settled on these. Well constructed, comfortable, and a chamois that is good for the long haul. I am 6'2, 195 with a 44 chest and the XL fits perfectly.

I love it! It's very comfortable.

Very comfortable! Panels and seams are placed correctly to make these shorts act as part of your body. After trying out the first pair, I bought another and I probably will get a 3rd pair soon.

The LG Neo Power bib shorts are the best value in bib shorts, and I have worn many different brands. Giordana Forma, Assos F1 Uno S5, high end Capo, Sugoi RS....all have passed underneath me in the past 2 seasons, all easily $50-100 more than the Neo Power, but not any better.
These bibs have great compression with the Power Lycra. The pad is well shaped for me, not to thick under the the sit bones (my preference) and not over-engineered with channels and densities. I honestly believe a simple chamois design with good material is better than the fancier designs.
The only drawback is that these shorts are on the warm side. In really hot weather they might be a little too much, but for temps of 80F and less they are perfect.

I received a pair of the white ones as a gift. Thought they were a bit on the flashy side, but after trying them I ordered a couple more pair in other colors. They feel great. They have a lot more compression than other shorts I've tried which helps a lot more than I was expecting on long rides. My quads were not as tired even after pushing into a strong headwind. The chamois is quote comfy and not too thick. I've had them for a few months now and they seem to be holding up well to quite a few washings. Colors are holding well also. For the money, they seem like a real bargain.
