I've always been a fan of Assos bibshorts and have been riding them for years. They're comfortable and wear well, but they ARE expensive. The LG rep dropped off a pair of these to try and I'm really glad he did. The one's he left for me had the white panels and stitching and at first I thought they were a bit much - I generally go for all black shorts. But I've really grown to like the look. They compliment several of my favorite jerseys very well.
But what has really impressed me is how great these feel while riding - particularly on a long ride. The compression fabric feels great on my quads, the chamois works as it should, and the braces are comfortable enough that I don't really notice them.
What's really telling is that on my last few century rides, I've pulled these out of the drawer instead of my Assos bibs which sell for more than twice as much. I don't know if these will last as long, but after 30 or so washings, I find them an excellent value.

I like LG products. I read the reviews and decided to give these a try. I've ridden cheap Nashbar, High End Team kit, and everything in between (except Assos). As much as I want to like these bibs I have to rate them middle of the pack. My pearl Izumis are still more comfortable for the long rides, less noticeable, more breathable, and even seem lighter.
My main complaint isn't the super-tight constriction provided by the fabric, but the clammy feel whenever the temperature is north of 50 F. I'm sure this is a byproduct of the fabric, but it's not appealing to me.
These are well-made, quality bibs with a decent chamois, but I can't give them the same acclaim provided by other reviewers.

These bibs are not fitting as described and I had to go up in two sizes to get a fit. I have tried numerous times to use these bibs but the chamois wrinkles (this may be because I had to go up two sizes and the chamois is too large). I took these bibs on a two day ride and used them on the first day.. Wow I could hardly walk for the second day. I used my older version of LG bibs on the second day and they were wonderful. I thought it was just me, but I cant even use these for 40 mile rides with out the things ripping me up. I am 190 lbs and 5-10 and fit in an XXL.
Would not buy these again, even with the very satisfied version of LG before this has tainted my view of this brand.

I own 4 pairs of these - they are fantastic. Great material. They fit snug, but not overly tight, and provide nice compression. I am 6' 145 lbs and wear small.

I am a cycling enthusiast, and wear these bibs for rides ranging from a couple of hours to full day rides and multi day tours. The fabric provides good compression in the legs, and the hem at the bottom stays flat and keeps the shorts in place without using silicone or rubberized elastic bands. The straps are comfortable and stay flat. The chamois pad is comfortable, providing cushioning where needed without a lot of bulk or excess padding. I have tried Castelli and Pearl Izumi bibs and they do not compare with these.

These bibs are one of those rare cycling apparel items that just disappear and let you ride. 20 years of riding and using dozens of bibs, and these have surpassed my way-overpriced Assos bibs as my favorite. Love the compression, stitching and fit. The chamois is super comfortable- not too bulky and not too thin. Really happy with these.

I spent several weeks trying to find bike shorts for my son, who is 13 yrs old and weighs about 105lbs. At first I had him try small in pearlIzumi, LG and castelli, but the legs were loose on him. I also tried junior bike shorts from pearlIzumi, but that didn't fit either.
These fit him just right and fixed the saddle sore he was getting without bike shorts. His longest ride in them was 26 miles and he reported no discomfort. If you're looking for bike shorts for a skinny kid that's around 5'3 and 100-105lbs, they should work.

Nice bibs but I think they run smaller than the sizing chart suggests. I am 6 foot tall and normally wear XL in other bibs but these are really tight in the legs and the shoulder straps are shorter than I am used to, causing a lot of pull from the shoulders and soreness over time. Going to have to return and go with the XXL.

This was first bib shorts I've tried so I was apprehensive. Always happy with Garneau products so I decided to try them. They are extremely comfortable with excellent chamois padding. Had a problem in the past with waist line riding down but these solved that problem. Shoulder straps very comfortable and don't even notice them. Definitely recommend.

I'm 6'1 165lbs and I have the XL in all black. I originally had the L, but they were too small. Mostly the straps were too short and the bibs were too tight. XL is almost perfect. The straps are still a little short and they are slightly tight in the groin. But the material is super comfy and the padding is really good (compared to my old worn out shorts). I am hoping they break in a bit more. But the compression makes my legs feel really good on long rides (80 miles). I got them on a sale plus my member rebate so it was a good deal. I would like to get another pair.

I had owned one pair of bib shorts about 15 years ago, and the straps chaffed my chest. Rode in PI shorts for a long time. Getting ready for a week long ride through the Rockies last year, I decided to give these bib shorts a try.
I am 6'3 tall, 212 lbs., and ordered 2 shorts in XL. The construction of the shorts are great. Very snug, as the advertising says, but very comfortable. Once you get used to the compression, it feels great. I don't notice any rubbing or irritation from the shoulder straps across the chest. Pad is just the right size and thickness for longer rides. For my size, it would be nice if the shoulder straps were a little longer, but the snugness doesn't bother me. After a full year of riding, they still look new. No fading or lost elasticity. I am very happy with the purchase. These are now my favorite shorts.

I recently bought a pair of these shorts for training rides. I could not be happier with the fit and the comfort of these shorts. I am 5'10 and weight 170 and the size medium fit perfectly. Although I have not tested their endurance to many washes, I will over the months to come. I hope they wear as well as they perform. So far one of the best bibs I have bought for the price. I will definitely purchase another set.

Great bibs. Nicely padded but not bulky. Great compression.

These were the first bibs I'd ever purchased. I had always worn traditional bike shorts up until now, and I'm glad I made the switch. When I was shopping for bibs I wanted ones that earned high ratings but also didn't break the bank (preferably less than [$]/pair). Well, these LG bibs happened to be on sale [...], and the ratings were high. Plus, I haven't been disappointed by any other LG products I've owned, so I gave these a shot. They fit very well, and the chamois is very comfortable. Plus, the suspenders don't chafe, so that is definitely a plus.

This is the third pair I buy. I have ordered some of the higher end Louis Garneau and I have to admit that these are my favorite. The anotomical fit is really comfortable and they also look good. Besides the look, they really stand up to the South Texas heat. Careful with the size chart. According to the chart I should wear a medium, but the large fit much better. The muscle compression is great.

I am 5'10" and 155 and wear the Medium. Given that this is more a compression bib, one should realize that it does feel tight when first put on. Once riding, you forget about it and feel great with the comfortable chamois.

LG has become my favorite brand of shorts. The chamois is good quality, and the lycra runs from ok to great depending on the model. The Neo Power short has compression lycra, which is comfortable and has lasted well for the pair I've had for 2 years.

I very much enjoy the compression fabric, as its very comfortable on long rides. It tends to be on the thicker and warmer end of the spectrumm. Chamois is above average in comfort

I have not ridden enough in these shorts yet to determine the durability but they seem to have quality construction. I have done a few 60 mile rides in the to be very pleased with their comfort. The fit is fine for me but this is something an individual will have to determine for themselves.
Sorry to hear about your issues with the bibshorts! We would be happy to help you get set up with another style of bibshorts if these ones do not work for you personally. Please give us a call or email at your convenience and we will help in any way possible.
