Original Look replacement cleats are much better than the cheaper no-name replacements. These last much longer and the others don't last long even if you use cleat covers religiously. It's a better buy than the rip-offs...stick with these.

I replace my right cleat about every 1000 miles because that is how long it lasts from the action of putting my foot down at stop lights. The left cleat has about 4000 miles on it. Thinking the rubber nubs on the more expensive grip cleats might help, I purchased those last replacement period and got about 3-500 miles out of them before the front edge snapped off during an uphill sprint. So far I have found no better alternative to these Look cleats and biketiredirect has the best prices so I recommend that Look users just stock up on these any time there is a sale.

I used to ride Look Keo 2 Max pedals on two different bikes. I've recently changed to another pedal type. One reason was that these cleats simply wear down too fast. Yes, I've tried the Look Keo walking padded ones but I find they change the clip-in angle enough to bother me. So while I don't walk in these except around my car or to put a foot down at lights, they still wear too quickly for my taste.

These replacement cleats work fine. I've never had a problem with them. They do wear out over time, especially if you walk around on them without cleat covers. They wear out on the side that you touch down when stopped, so you have to check them periodically. They are somewhat pricey.

When these are on sale at BTD they are a great deal. Buy two sets!

Started with these moved to the more expensive ones with grip which did help with walking on tile but also made more noise on the bike. Now I am back with these.

I have been riding the Keo platform on my Sidis for a few years. I recently purchased a new pair of Look Keo Replacement Cleats and have been riding on them for a couple of months. I'm still sold on the Keo cleat in terms of power transfer, design, quick entry and exit, and the reassuring click they provide when I snap my cleat into place. And, BONUS, they are very quiet too. So I would give them five out of five stars. I will continue to buy them without any reservation.

Since I started cycling "seriously" I have been a look fan. I don't pretend to know what degree of "float" will be best for you be be aware that Look cleats vary. I am 69 years old and routinely ride 30-60 miles at a time. I have replaced my cleats many times but so far (thank you God) never my knees. These also seem very durable as I get at least a full 5000 mile "season" out of them. Now the only issue is that when new they can become a bit difficult to engage and disengage. I use Finish Line Cleat and Pedal spray to help especially for the first dozen rides when I replace a set. I have found that to be a great product and believe you might no matter what your pedal system.

I've been riding Look since the beginning of clipless tech. Solid feel, easy to clip in, and good durability. A good cleaning and a light coat of lubricant will keep the squeaks away.

original cleats for look keo pedals

Long time user of Look pedals and replacing the cleat when they reach the worn marks is key to keeping them quiet. I've never had an issue with Look pedals in over 20+ years of riding.

These cleats work great with Keo blade pedals no squeaking and positive engagement . Had nothing but noise with the Keo grip cleats.

Have used for years...very reliable

These were a great price so I picked up 3 pairs, as they tend to wear down pretty quickly for me. Obviously if one was to wear cleat covers they would have a longer life. The gray cleats give that little bit of float which I like since I have knee issues, but theyre not sloppy.

Works great.

Love Keo cleats. I will stick with them forever. Good large area of surface load reduces pain in feet from focused small area of load

Slippery to walk in. I did not notice, no rubber on the bottom. I use for road riding. ( note photo shows no rubber on bottom.) I just bought the wrong product.

I find this cleats way better in terms of clipping in and durability. It does feel better and less creaking when used as compared to the original hip cleats that come originally with the pedals. There might be some slight issues with longetivity.
