I've been using lizard skins for years now and love the way they feel. They might wear out a little faster than other bar tape, but to me it's worth it for the feel.

One thing I wish they'd work on is to make them UV resistant. I'm running the orange ones on my current bike and they look great when you get them. I didn't really notice the fading that badly until I went to unwrap them. It's like 12 shades difference between the parts that were exposed to the sun and those that were covered.

Now I notice it all the time. Enough that I probably won't order red ones for my other bike because I assume they'll end up pink. Probably will stick with the black for that bike.

So far so good but the true test of time will be how it wears. Loving it thus far. Looks good. Cushy with nice grip. Can't comment on how it is wet as I am in a relatively dry climate.
