This 3.2 tape provides a cushy ride for my gravel bike. Cushioned but still allows good control.

I was a big fan of this tape at one time (especially after the 3.2 mm came out), as it is nice on the hands. However, long-term durability is not great, after a season or two, the colored outer layer starts to peel, leaving the tape looking shoddy. Any color other than black tends to get dirty quickly, and getting the dirt off is difficult to impossible (I recently tried to clean a friend's red Lizard Skins tape using Rock N' Roll Miracle Red degreaser, this stuff normally cleans most anything, but it didn't work at all on this tape). Given that MSRP is now $46 a box, I won't be using it any longer. Fizik tape is more durable and cheaper, though not as cushy.

Somewhat expensive but excellent bar tape. The thicker 3.2 mm tape offers more padding.

Great bar tape, really reduces vibrations and doesn't slip on the handlebar. Only problem was the cheap bar plugs that came with the tape were too big for the tape thickness and broke.

This bar tape gives great padding to help minimize vibrations.

I can not say enough positive things about how happy I am to have bought this bar tape!

Light, extremely comfortable and tactile feel. Will make your bars thicker, which I really like. Great tape.

Very thick and hard to wrap around 3T Ergonova bars.

Put on a my roadbike, allowed for a better grip due to it's thickness, and provides a very cushy ride.

I have used Lizard Skins handlebar tape a few times and have not been disappointed. A little more expensive that some of the others but easy to install, lasts a long time and very comfortable. Totally worth it.

You hands and wrists will thank you, you will notice quality, vibration dampening and tape thats going to last more than a season of riding. The last bar tape I used quickly delaminated then the foam wore through to the bars all within 2000 miles.
I used Lizard skins on another bike which have over 5000 miles and the tape still looks and performs like new.
The next time I need bar tape I will buy again.

After 500 miles I can say this tape seems very high quality. Definitely worth the price, because it will last longer. The cushion feels great. I have zero complaints, all praise! Buy it, you won't be disappointed. Wrapped mine on an endurance road bike. This is a thousand times better than the cheap $20 bar tape! You get what you pay for with this item.

This is my second Lizard Skin handlebar tape. It is durable and comfortable. Installation is great as it is not too sticky or slippery.
The only reason I take one star away is if you have a long handlebar, you may not have enough tape.

This handlebar tape is just cushy enough for a smooth comfy ride and has enough grip to hold your hands securely in place while you're rolling along.

Lizard Skins handlebar tape very cushioning and high quality. I have it on my road bike and am very happy with it.

I really wanted to like this tape. It looks fantastic and has great grip and vibration dampening, unfortunately it gets dirty really easy (and very hard to clean) and starts to wear out after only about 15 hours of use. It literally started disintegrating on all the pressure points. Might be a great window dressing for showing off your bike but if you actually ride it, forget it.

I had all kinds of bar tape for over thirty years. None of them ever cost this much and pealed its' skin off in a matter of months. I won't buy this again. I would post photos here but I don't see where it's possible. It's definitely a comfortable, secure grip. Perhaps that's why it can't take really hard use. It peels right where your hands hold tight in the drops or climbing, in or out of the saddle.
