I wanted to love this pump, but it has failed me a number of times

I run tubeless, so I rarely need a pump when I'm out riding, but this pump has disappointed me every time I have used it (3 times). Each time, it fills the tire with air, as expected, but when I unthread the pump it takes the valve core with it, completely deflating the tire! I thread the valve core in as tightly as possible to try to avoid this situation, but it still doesn't work. In one case, I overtightened the valve core (stripped it) and had to replace it before filling the tire. In all 3 cases, I have had to borrow a pump from another rider in order to get going again.

I am currently in search of a pump that latches onto the valve stem instead of threading on. I realize that threading provides a better seal, but I don't want to take the risk of going through that level of frustration ever again.

Thank you for your feedback.

Functional Little Pump

I have two of these and keep one in my road bike saddle bag and one in my hardtail saddle bag. The pump works great for either (both tubeless). Takes up less space, weighs less than CO2 cartridges and a valve and could supply a never ending supply of air. For my trail bike I still use CO2, but thats a packaging issue with how I carry tools and parts for more remote rides. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your feedback.

Really compact pump

Recommended by Bike Tires Direct for my application (rep I spoke with there was super helpful answering my questions about tires, tubes, and pump). It's really compact, has a flexible hose that is easy to get connected to the valve, and I thought the price was pretty good, too.

Thank you for your feedback.

Just in case

I have one permanently mounted on each bike, just in case. Yes, I do carry the much more convenient CO2 cartridges, but these are a good insurance policy. Just a couple of weeks ago proved to be worthy. Make sure to select the right product (high pressure or high volume) for you tires size.

Thank you for your feedback.

Nicely designed and constructed tiny pump

This is really nicely constructed, the feel of it in my hands suggests a much heavier pump, but it is really lightweight. About 38CCs of air per pump (24mm bore, 85mm stroke). It's actually 150mm long not 140. The cage attachment has two clips and a really strong velcro strap. It's not going anywhere mounted on a bike frame, but it's small enough to pop into just about any bike bag (measure first).

Thank you for your feedback.

Awesome pump

I now carry this with me every gravel ride, its compact light and will pump up a 38mm tubeless to get you home. I like the detachable hose concept, makes it much easier to get on the valve. takes roughly 4-5 strokes per psi best pocket pump i have owned.
