The red light is mounted on the highest point of my seat tube. It stays out of the way of the dropper post. The white one got special care. My front forks have lots of mount points. I pulled the plug from the outside bottom hole. The light was going to mount on a 1" piece of a 3/4" dowel attached at that bottom outside hole with a hex head bottle cage bolt embedded in the center of the 3/4" dowel. I drilled a pilot hole down the center of the dowel wide enough for the screw, and then drilled another hole 1/4" less deep than the first, just wide enough for the head of the screw. I filed a gentle concave notch on one end of the dowel to accommodate the cross-sectional curve of my front fork, and flattened a side of the dowel to let the curved back end of the white light rest horizontal and make good contact with it . A large black Sharpie made the wood bracket flat black. Screw the dowel to the fork, rubber band the white light to the dowel, and I had another cool, low to the ground "see me light". I've used both lights 7 hours/week for the past month and they're still glowing bright.

The headlight is meant to mount on your handlebar but if you have brake or shifter cables crossing the front of your bars that's a problem. You can't change the lens orientation relative to the rubber strap position. The tail light is made to strap to your seatpost. If you have a seat bag with a horizontal strap you need a loop of velcro or something to get the lens oriented correctly. The lights seem bright, with constant on or steady flash patterns.

I use this light pair as my daytime running lights for my road bike. I needed something that was bright enough in the rear as my old unit was weak. It's sad that we even have to use these, but with more distracted drivers it's a must. Overall a good package, easy to install ,easy to recharge. Solid construction, I haven't had a chance to test the water resistance yet, but may soon if December continues to be mild in my region.
