I live in the wet and wonderful Pacific Northwest, so I wanted to try out a waxed chain to see if it's worth the hype. I picked it up on sale for the same price as the standard version, so it seemed like low-risk/high-reward if it was good. After a month of use, it is noticeably less gritty and dirty than the non-waxed chain it replaced. On that metric alone, I think it was a worthy upgrade. It shifts smoothly with my Ultegra drivetrain and should be a bit more durable. The bling factor has to be good for an extra 5 watts too.
