This chain came stock on my SRAM-equipped Cannondale road bike. I maintain my chains well - cleaning with the Park chain cleaner system once a week, lube after every ride. This chain performed just fine until it broke at the top of a short climb during a ride with only 1100 miles on it. I expected to get at least 3000-4000 miles out of it before I proactively replaced it. The master link failed. I have SRAM chains on all of my other bikes and will likely replace this one with a SRAM chain as well (though now I'm feeling uneasy about those snap-style master links).

I use this chain on my road bike. I ride about 4000 miles a year. So far have been replacing the chain once a year, when it is usually just outside spec'. Really like the connector link so it can be taken off to clean.
