The tire installs easily, is great for highway/street riding, does equally well on country roads both paved and unpaved and bike trails that are stoned and not to aggressive. The tread design gives good traction in wet weather. The tire give off slightly more road noise that the street tire I replace, but it is not excessive. Great crossroads tire for the money.

Purchased a used bicycle for my wife to ride when we go camping. Had to replace the tires. Very satisfied with this product.

I run these tires on my 3 speed commuter. great traction and pretty light.

This ia a hard to find size here locally. So purchased them on line with more then satisfactory results. They are for older bikes but if you need them these will serve you well and the price was more then reasonable.

If you have been reluctant to use BTD for your riding needs I can assure you they are reputable.

I think that this is a good tire and is fairly cheap. I did not exactly get to use these tires since I own a vintage Schwinn and they use a 26 x 1 38 tire also but the Schwinn 26 x 1 38 is actually (597mm) and this 26 x 1 38 tire is a (37 590 mm ) tire and is smaller than the one I need. I was unaware of the size difference and assumed that a 1 38 tire would fit all 26 x 1 38 rims... boy was I wrong!!! I put the tire on my rim but could not get it off and ended up cutting the tire off of the rim wsheet metal shears. Ruined a brand new tire and tube so if you have Schwinn rims these tires will not fit! It needs to be marked S 6 26x 1 38 x 114 and measure (597mm) not (590mm). Stupid way to size tires and consumer should be warned before purchasing

Cushy ride coupled with low rolling resistance - throw in the directional tread pattern for wet traction - this makes for a wonderful all around bike trail choice on my Humber Sports - all for a low purchase price to boot.
