I buy tubes in bulk because of local markups, and because I used to go through them once or twice every couple weeks. After purchasing GatorSkin tires from Germany and these decent tubes from Kenda, I have had fantastic results. It is not certain which factor (or both) was the solution to my problem, but I can say that these Kenda tubes go in well, and have a very helpful knurled (cross-hatched threads on outside for good finger traction) retaining ring to thread down on the stem, removing any shift motion under load. This will have to be finger-tightened from time to time as you ride. They're packaged to fit easily into a cycling bag, and have classy black caps, although I'll miss my ostentatious neon green caps from my cheap tube supplier. (those tubes broke cooooonstantly). These durable tubes are good for any level of cyclist, amateur or professional. (And I take my road bike some places it really shouldn't go)

1500 miles on these tubes and no flats. Previous tubes of the same brand flatted weekly near the stem, but those were made in China and didn't seem to have the same manufacturing quality. These tubes are made in Taiwan and quality is so much better at stem - smooth and well assembled. At this price it's a great deal!

Pretty standard tube, overall happy with purchase and would buy again

The only issue i have is sometimes the pump flys off the end of the presta valve at higher psi. I have not had this issue with the threaded version of the same product.

Finally switched brands and they are perfect now

Unless you are overly concerned about saving weight on your bike, these tubes do the job very well and are reasonably priced.

I usually buy a quantity, and share with other club members.

I stock up on these when BTD puts them on a good sale. They have always done the job.

I am very happy with the tubes.

A fine, but nothing out of the ordinary, road tube. It sole claim to fame is that Kinda still offers them in sensibly length valve stems. Thus they look great with normal road rims.
Too many tire manufacturers have opted to produce tubes in longer length valve stems only. Great for the 5% of riders who actually use carbon areo racing rims. The remaining 95% of bike riders get stuck with tubes with ridiculously long valve stems. These unnecessarily long stems provide no benefit to the average rider. And, let's be honest. They look stupid on the vast majority of bicycle rims.
Because of dwindling choices in available presta road tubes (vis--vis stem length), you see these idiotic tall stems on bicycles every where these days. They are rapidly becoming the norm, unfortunately. Unnecessary, wasteful, and stupid looking.
Bravo to Kenda for continuing to produce a product for the majority of bike riders (not just the racer wantabes). Likewise to Bike Tires Direct.com for continuing to offer at least one tube that actually meets the needs of the majority of the bicycle riding public.

Good tube that holds pressure needed. Does exactly what it is supposed to.

Its hard to find 80mm presta values tubes at a good price. Seems everything else is more than $10. Also prefer not run light tubes here in pot hole city, where pinch flates are more common than punctures.

What can I say other than it performs as advertised. Only thing that could improve it would be to make it puncture vine proof. Keep dreaming.

I've used these tubes in various wheel sizes & types. It's a good basic (non-racing) tube, a little on the heavy side. I like that it's available with various stem lengths & types. It's a little on the heavy side, but a great buy when you get them on sale!

Great product. It worked as designed. It was inexpensive. It was delivered in two days.

I have used these tubes for almost four years. Most of them last until I get a real puncture through the tire but I had four tubes in a row go flat with a total of 18 days all at the same location on the inside of the tube (next to the rim) at the same position next to the tube radial seam no matter which orientation I installed the tube (radial seam cw or ccw from stem hole in the rim). I sent in photos of the failures to BikeTiresDirect but no response. I assume that it is a manufacturing defect. I switched to a Continental tube which has been in three weeks now with no problems. The front tube is still a Kenda which has been in for at least three months.
