This is a solid choice if you are looking for a gluten-free and/or vegan protein supplement. My wife and I have tried many vegan protein powders over the last decade, and this has become our "go-to" for the last 2 years.
It mixes easily - doesn't leave large clumps.
No after taste - many vegan protein powders leave an after taste.
Doesn't cause gut bloating - it is easy on the digestive track.
The only reason I am giving it a value rating of 4 out of five stars is that the rating system says that 4 stars = "good deal" and 5 stars = "a steal". This product is priced in line with other vegan protein powders...none of them are priced low.

I like Hammer's stuff so I thought I'd give this a try. Not chalky like some of the soy-based powders I've tried, but there's some grit to it - you definitely can tell there's some veggie goodness inside. Tastes decent (vanilla) just mixed with water or iced coffee.
Dairy-based protein tends to upset my stomach, which is a bummer since it's so much cheaper than this. I think I'll switch to whey-based protein during training and use this vegan protein leading up to a race so my stomach is happy on race day. As usual, BTD is my goto for this since VIP points take some of the sting out of the price.
Overall a solid product, just expensive (although cheaper than Vega's offerings).

I am a plant based cyclist. Hammer nutrition offers many quality products for both plant based and non plant based athletes. The science behind their products is spot on

I get digestive issues with too much whey protein. This vegan option works great. The vanilla and chocolate flavors are good. Not a huge fan of the strawberry flavor. It also doesn't have alot of many of the things that i'd like to avoid that many protein powders seem to have.

I've been a longtime user of Hammer's Chocolate Whey Protein, yet decided to try their Vegan version. I clearly prefer the Whey version for taste and it does have fewer calories. I presume their replenishment benefits are the same.
