I've tried other stuff and Gu is simply the best imo. Doesn't upset your stomach and I feel it hydrates you better.

The blue canister, I think it is Blueberry something, anyhow, I really like this stuff. the Blue canister has 2x the sodium which is good for me to help keep cramps out of my life. It is not a sugar bomb and tastes very good. I use 3 scoops for 24 ozs and find it to be a good product.

Used this in my Camelback during 400k & 600k brevets (heat index during daylight hours was over 100F), supplemented with Hammer Perpetuum, and Gu gells, and experienced no cramps, carb crashes or hydration issues. Have become a fan of the light flavor, it goes down very easy, no bloating or fullness. You do have to be particular about mixing it up due to the maltodextrin, I found putting a few ounces of warm water in a bottle, adding the powder & shaking until there were no lumps, then add some cold water, shake again, and add to hydration bag, & top off with more cold water & ice. Use this as my go to fluid replacement for long or important rides. plan on giving the Roctane formula a try next season.

I like the taste of the orange brew, and the electrolytes seem to work-I never cramp. But most important is the fact that I'm gluten intolerant, and Gu products are safe.

I use on 30 mile rides. It keeps me hydrated and good source if energy.
Best of all it's not to sweet like some sport drinks.

Extra sodium in Blueberry flavor is great for long hot rides. Some insoluble parts are only drawback. Larger container would be nice, as well.

What i like about GU Brew is that it is not to sweet . It's much easier drink. i use to carry one bottle of energy type
drink and one plain water. I'm now using 2 bottles of GU Brew and drinking more liquid.

Not as sweet and sugary tasting as gatorade and no cramps....

A little hard to get the powder to mix but use a little warm water to get it to dissolve then add the rest of the water. I have only tried the orange - good tasting and not too sweet.
