Bought this for my 5yr old daughter's bike. Installation was very easy (including cutting it down to size). Works well - spring is stronger than she can handle so I have to help her raise and lower it but then that is to be expected given her age.

Seemed like a good idea but I've seen these on other bikes that have caused damage to the paint and, in one case, dented the chain stays from overtightening. I've decided not to use this.

The kickstand works great & the price was right.

I put it on my 26 hardtail MTB with a 19.5 frame. Easy to install. I didn't have to cut mine, but the instructions and markings look pretty straightforward if you need to shorten it. It came loose after a week or so, I just put a lockwasher on the bolt and no problems since.

Might scuff your frame because it squeezes two metal pieces to it. But, it's a cheap kickstand and well, it's a kickstand.

Very lightweight and easy to install, all you need is a 916 wrench or socket. Install it while it is up and align it with the chain stay tube and tighten. If it is too long eg., the bike stands near straight up and is easy to tip over, use a hack saw (metal hand saw) and cut an inch off and teat if that is enough, make sure you cut at an angle that leaves the stand flat on the ground, repeat until you have a the lean you want.

I like the shiny color when its new and I also like the faded, tarnished color after years of exposure to the elements. My older one is still functioning like its new (though the color is faded).

light, reliable, and the right price. I have one on each of my bikes.
