Not cheap, but the really good stuff rarely is. Relatively light, minimalist semi-aero profile. Overall, a nice lid, especially if you can catch a good sale.

Very light helmet, well ventilated for hot summer rides, also like the dedicated holes for sunglasses holding.
I previously owned a Giro helmet with similar retention system so cannot really compare with other helmets. But for me the fit is perfect and knowing that the MIPS gives extra protection to the brain is reassuring.
little bit expensive but you can find good discount online.

I use the Giro Synthe Daily. Looks good, breaths very well, total comfort, light weight, all good.
Yes for sure, I recommend the Synthe.

The helmet is light in weight with great ventilation. The fit is very comfortable with a great place to store your glasses. The one minor drawback is a somewhat difficult to work buckle.

Fit and feel of this helmet is great. Aero, but not too hot.
The reason I really love this helmet is that it saved me from a crash at 30mph. Downhill, sharp turn, wet leaves, into a wire fence, you know the scenario... Hit my head and didn't even know it until I saw the damage on the front of the helmet at the end of the ride. No concussion, no loss of consciousness, no head pain at all in fact. helmet smashed up on the front, but still intact. Ordering a new one again!

This is my second Synthe, as the first one did its job last year and kept me away from the neurosurgeons when a car took out our paceline (do NOT reuse a helmet that has been in a crash!)
I live where heat is an issue, which is why I bought the original helmet. The colors I ordered matched my then-bike well, and the design was not at all displeasing. Function with style. My noggin did not overheat, and even though I am a little follically challenged, no sunburns up there.
The straps are easy to adjust as is the dial adjuster in back. I race (amateur) and am pretty sure that the helmet is as aero as Giro claims it to be any marginal improvements other brands may make would certainly need someone much closer to the pro ranks to see enough of those gains to make a meaningful measurement.
As stated above the helmet served its purpose and saved my skull from a closer encounter with asphalt that it did have. I was so impressed with the helmet's performance before and during (in retrospect) the crash that I knew another was in my future. Now I have MIPS, so its even better! I don't have a $20 head, so I spend money on helmets.
Good crash protection, very aero, comfortable, and cool.

I usually wear M in Giro helmets and this was true to size. It's comfortable and quiet. I prefer fewer vents for fewer yellowjackets and less sunburn (like Air Attack) but Giro was between aero helmet styles so I settled for this in order to have a freshly made helmet. EPS has a shelf life! I wish it had some quality reflective material. I added 3m SOLAS but it should come from the factory that way. The only negative is that my Tifosi Tyrant 2.0 absolutely will not stay locked in the vents, front or rear. I haven't tried it with other sunglasses because... These are the ones I have. Too bad I can't stow them on this helmet.

This is a nice helmet, it should be for $. While it is lighter than my old Scattante Spyder helmet it is not any cooler. I expected it to be at least a little cooler but the sweat still pours down my forehead like before. How much do I have to pay for helmet where this is no longer an issue?

I have ridden with Giro Hemets exclusively for years. They just fit me better than other helmets I have tried. The Synthe model is the lightest helmet I have ever worn and the Roc-Loc system stays comfortable when I am wearing a winter beanie, cycling cap, a skullie, or nothing on my shaved head. I like the smaller profile and the MIPS Is a plus.

Have purchased many helmets during my riding/racing history. My Giro Synthe MIPS helmet just felt ready for any extreme. If you have ever crashed on a bicycle, you need a top of the line helmet. Giro has a winner with GSM.

I ride 3-4 times a week 2 to 4 hrs. Helmet fits well and is very comfortable. Easy to adjust. Sometimes while riding I forget I have it on my head. Wind noise at times can be bothersome.

Great Helmet and comfortable. Well ventilated and took a hit on road and no problems. Gravel dents and that's it. Happy with this product.

What i would expect from Giro. I have owned many other Giros. This helmet is an improvement over my last one.
