I upgraded to the Atmos helmet primarily for its ventilation properties. I overheat very easily, and this helmet provides better airflow than any I've tried. I've even had to wear a cap or liner on early Spring rides when the morning temps are chilly. Never had to do that before. The light weight is an added plus. Compared to what other riders in my club wear, I paid less than half and feel like I ended up with the superior product.

I have honestly not got to use the helmet yet but I bought it for its looks, venting and lightness. The adjustment system on this is also great, you can really dial in a custom fit. It also matches my Cannondale Evo paint great. Weight rating for medium is fairly accurate, as it weighs in at 262 grams on my scale which is less than most helmets costing way more than this one. Can't wait to use this baby and take it for a spin.

I use my new Giro Atmos every time I click into my pedals. I like the abundant venting for great airflow, and you are hardly aware that it is on your head because it is so light. The Roc-Loc system rocks. I've had Giro helmets in the past, and I don't see ever buying a helmet from another manufacturer.

Best fitting helmet and I like how easy it is to make adjustments. Its lightweight and good fit makes it very comfortable. I had to replace my old Giro after it protected my head in a major crash. The remains of my old Giro is a show piece of why we wear a helmet.

Use the helmet when commuting and for long rides on the weekend. Comfortable, light, fits well. Very pleased with it.

My brother has been biking approx 25 years. He needed to replace his helmet. He could have picked any helmet for his gift & I would have bought it for him. He's pretty particular about his equipment. He chose this one. I caught a break too because it happened to be on sale...win-win

Excellent fit. It saved my life in a head-over fall. I bought an other one as a replacement to one that got crushed.

I had an older, clunkier helmet, Giro Atmos is much lighter and cooler. Also, the fit dial thingie is really easy to use and effective when my head size changes because I've put my hair up.

I am a 76 year old senior cyclist who not only likes to look sharp riding bike trails in and around Washington DC but who likes the feeling of having a helmet that will protect my skull in the event of a fall. And, we know anyone who puts in the miles will fall.

Ultralight, great airflow, very comfortable. Adjusted easily to my head. I commute to work and do touring on weekends.

Got this helmet to replace another Giro after a crash (protected head fine, just hit hard enough to replace for safety). This was an upgrade for me in tech specs, much lighter and cooler than the old one. Feels great, hardly know it's there, but I still trust Giro to protect my head.

Lightweight and well ventilated, the Giro Atmos also is great for people with larger heads. I found the Giro Saros (size large) to be too narrow, but the Atmos is much more roomier side to side. Also, the RocLoc 5 is easy to adjust for a customized fit.

I am using this helmet for road biking. It looks great and can easily be adjusted to my head size. During the winter I am using a head cover and need to have the helmet a little larger. On warmer days, I can easily adjust the helmet to fit without the head cover.
