I have been using the Garmin Vector 2 for a few years now. I have seen reviews about connectivity issues but never experienced myself. The only reason I had to replace my last one was because of a wreck. Compact inlet with multiple platforms and reliable. Love the ability to change to different bikes.
I broke the original riding rollers, or more accurately, riding rollers badly the recommeded position doesnt play nice with the side rails. The replacement went on with minimal fuss. If not for this part, Id be a member of the one-sided club.
So I've had my Vector 2 pedals for several years and love them...such a game changer. I saw this pod as a path to upgrade from one side to two sides. I chatted with the customer service person and exchanged pictures of pedals to make sure I was getting the right thing. Tried to install today and, nope, not really an upgrade. The non-power pedal has a different sized hole in the back, so the pod can't plug in to the pedal. Total bummer. Don't fall for the description here. You apparently need something else to make that leap to two sides.
