TOO SMALL to actually read in any type of lighting. No joke. Am 59yo and this is the hardest of all my watches to read. Between the size and the odd lack of illumination, it's near impossible in certain situations. Its so small that it cost the watch a star. I ALSO HATE that it is not a touch screen. No reason it needs to be ONLY push button. That's the loss of the 2nd star in my book, except that the features over the 2 year old Captain Marvel watch I have on standby. But that watch IS touch screen, but doesn't track sleep, or gravel rides or VO2 Max. Like all Garmins, battery life in the beginning is pretty great, but then in a matter of a year or so, they start losing life. This will take me through 3-4 days of bike commuting before needing a charge. Without love the So as far as functions and performance, this thing rules. But unless my screen option just happens not to maximize the entire watch face properly, this screen should be absolutely easier to see. I will say, scoring it on sale helps me not be as upset, but for almost $300, it should be flawless.
