Like all things of comfort, good ones cost a lot, food, shoes and beds. Stopped having to move around or stand after a couple of hours, just works.

DKlein, of Everything's Been Done, recommended this. I ordered one, and it arrived days before the vineyard (and desert) ride based in Palisade,CO. I signed up for their 58 mile ride. Temperatures ranged from 55 to 86: the saddle runs and looks cool. I've tried several saddles before, with the most recent Brook's Carved C17. This Fizik saddle is comfortable: I thought of it only when repositioning myself, confident its hexagons would hold me until I changed again. They're grippy in a good way I would say. This saddle is very light, and did its part when I had to rest the bike on it and bars to repair a punctured front tire. BTD's $233 price was a good investment.

I will admit, I was skeptical with the whole 3D printed saddles. A marketing ploy to grab big $'s from us gullible riders looking for anything to supposedly improve riding comfort. The first couple of short rides (<25mi.) I was pretty impressed. But what about longer rides? My first 3+ hour ride with 4K+ ft. of hills I will say this saddle is wicked good. In the past I would get some saddle fatigue past a couple of hours, not so with this unit. Data point of one, but off to a good start. The variable density of cushioning is really the key IMO. Soft or firm where you want it. I can't comment on durability or how it holds up if you crash. I ride gravel and most of my trails are sketchy/chunky so falls do happen on rare occasions. I think the construction could be prone to ripping/separating/pulling away from the shell, but time will tell. If you can find it priced <$200 on sale its a no brainer if you're in the market for a new saddle. If you have multiple steeds in the barn you'll soon want this saddle on all of them, you've been warned.

I'm very happy with this saddle. One of my first rides after installing it was a century ride. No more pain up front! I still have a little soreness at the sit bones but only on those long rides. The difference between many previous saddles and this one is huge. One feature that helps in my general comfort level is the grippy surface. No more gripping to stay in place - something I didn't realize I'd been doing. It's a great saddle and makes a big difference overall.

I am an older rider who has ridden more saddles than i can count. Some have worked well for me and some... not so well. I have been riding some gravel gran fondos this summer. My gravel bike's saddle had not been that comfortable fir me and I decided the give this saddle a try, having heard positive things about the 3D construction. The rides have ranged from 3 1/2 to 6 hours and I have experienced absolutely no discomfort from my saddle. This is an absolute first for me and I was so impressed I bought a second saddle for my road bike. No saddles are a personal thing and your experience may differ, but these saddles have been a revelation for me. They are pricey, but if you are have saddle discomfort these may be just the ticket.

I really like the Fizik Vento Argo R3. It is very comfortable. Some have called it grippy but I do not find that bike shorts tend to stick to the saddle. I would remiss if I failed to say it is also very cool looking.

I have owned Fizik for yrs as well as other brands here and there, but this seat is by far the most comfortable seat I have ever owned. Its truly a hidden jem. Between my wife and I, we have 5 of them.
The seat is deceivingly comfortable and the 3D printed design is amazing and COMPLETELY eliminating hot spots. For reference my normal rides are between 40-70 miles . I ride the saddle on both a gravel bike and XC Marathon bike.
The saddle is well worth the money.

I was looking for something for my gravel bike. My current favorite, the discontinued Bontrager Montrose Pro, is great on the road, but on a stiffer frame and a rougher surface, was not ideal. My 148 Montrose fell between the two sizes for the Vento Argo and I opted for the wider size. I wish I could have tried both sizes because it could be a touch too wide. However I have to say - its very comfortable so far. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars is that I just haven't lived with it very long. At first it might seem too soft but ride it. I've found that I'm
comfortable and pressure point free on rides up to 4 hours so far. Very nice.

Most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden! No pressure whatsoever, especially on the nose. Been riding Fizik Aliante ever since they were were introduced in the 90's. Selle Italia Flite and Turbo prior to that. The only issue with this saddle is that there is so much grip I quickly get saddle sores when riding. A generous amount of chamois cream does help.

It is a very good product, but there is only one problem: the texture of the material has a lot of grip, this makes the bibs not move in the seat, causing friction between your skin and the bibs. After a few minutes, this friction causes discomfort!

This is the 3rd Vento Argo R3 Adaptive Saddle that I have purchased. Originally installed this saddle on my Trek Checkpoint before riding the Katy Trail across Mo. I liked it so much, I also purchased 2 more for my Trek Domane SL6 road bike and my Trek Procaliber hardtail

About 2 months of use and this a very good saddle, where you really feel the benefits on long, endurance rides. Installation was easy on my Canyon Endurace and very happy with this purchase. It's also great that BikeTiresDirect offered it a sale price and shipping was really fast. Thanks!

I have the S-Works Power Mirror Saddle on my other bike and this saddle is every bit as good and is cheaper. I have 500 miles on it so far which is enough miles to get a good feel for how it feels after a long ride. I would recommend this saddle to anyone looking for a good road saddle.

This is a great short nose saddle for all sorts of riding. A much better replacement for my specialized power saddle.

This is the best saddle Ive ever ridden. My bottom has never gotten along with cutout saddles. The variable firmness that the 3D printing allows provides the pressure relief I need without having a cutout. Its a little more expensive but worth it for me. I have not noticed any friction from the mesh-like surface.

This saddle required some time to position correctly. It widens out faster than my old saddle. Once I got it dialed in, it is very comfortable.

For me this is an amazing saddle, I have used a few other Fizik Saddles that I also like, but this one seems to be it so I put them on all bikes.

Fixing saddle is more comfortable than traditional types. Overall for me feel it is notably more comfortable on long rides 50+ miles.

This is a great addition to my inventory of saddles. I ride on the trainer several days a week and get butt tired after a few days. This makes all the difference in comfort plus the shorter version makes it a proper fit. I did notice the height is a little more than others in the category so a small adjustment was necessary. I would purchase another one for sure.
