I'm a road rider, but using an SPD cleat appeals to me so that I don't have to walk like a duck whenever I'm not on my bike, the trouble there is then finding a shoe that has enough stiffness. This shoe fits the bill perfectly. The shoe is stiff, but not so stiff you can't walk around in it, it looks great and it just works well. I have used this through most of the summer season and no problems at all with the velcro. Overall I'm really happy I went for these.

I get weary of shoes with all sort of lever, wires, ratchet things to close them up. The Velcro straps are simple and straight forward.

I like the ability to fine-tune the fit as I have a narrow foot

I wear a size 12 12 US and I got a size 46.5 EU. The shoes fit perfect.
