White handlebar tape for a non-pro...fizik makes it happen here. A simple wipe and they look as good as new. Highly recommended.

Tape won't break when you stretch it. Minimalist feel, but crazy short, even without a figure 8 around the hoods it comes up short.

Lasts forever so it is more expensive.

I installed this on my road bike. I originally purchased it to match my sadde and seat post, but I love the feel of it. The looks of it just top it off. I will use this brand of tape forever. I couldn't be happier with FIZIK products. I also couldn't be happier with Biketiresdirect.com.

Fizik Microtek bar tape is probably my favorite. It has the look and feel of leather without having to worry about care and upkeep. The only downside is the lack of padding but to solve that issue, I put pieces of leftover bar tape on the bar and wrap over it. Works great, looks great!

Nothing makes a bike feel new like new bar tape.
This quality bar tape comes in great colors and unlike some less expensive tapes, the Fizik tape really holds that color over the long haul.
Easy to clean.
Worth every penny.

It is grippy when wet, the black will show salt stains. it's better than the bontiger tape that came with my bike if you need new tape get this if you don't wait till you do.

This stuff wraps really easy, stays clean and lasts forever.
Even though it doesn't feel padded, it's quite comfortable as well.

One of the best bar tape for keep clean

The softsuede texture is really nice. I ride without gloves quite a bit with this tape. When wet, it's not slippery. It lasts a long time and stays looking good. I find it installs welleasily. Two complaints I think they need to give about a foot more. C'mon Fizik - it stinks to do a tape job and come up JUST short. This is on 42cm bars. Now, I always use two rolls per tape job and overlap by quite a bit. You get a thicker, more comfy wrap this way and don't run short, but it's pretty expensive - which is my second complaint. Seriously!? What does this stuff cost to make? $20 is a lot for what's in the box, I think. But I still buy it cuz It's the Best!

I've had this tape for a few weeks and I'm very impressed with its performance. It's not padded at all but has an extremely nice feel, and provides good grip in wet conditions. It was also very easy to wrap, and was impossible to tear. If you're looking for an alternative to cork ribbon this is a good place to start.

The Fizik Bar Tape is awesome! I love that it comes in metallic colors - regular cork tapes can't offer that. I've used the silver and the soft touch black, both are fantastic, and hold up well. I haven't yet had an issue with them unwrapping, as some of the traditional cork tapes do. A great purchase!

I wore out a thicker, original equipment bar tape and replaced it with the Fizik. I like the thinner profile and the feel of the tape's finish. I get a good grip and good responsiveness. I've been racking up some miles and it's wearing very well.
I have the metallic blue - love the color.

I use this bar tape on all my road-style handlebars. It is easy to install, looks great, and is easy to clean. In my experience, it is also a longer lasting tape than traditional cork tapes. Comes in a variety of colors, including silver and metallic blue, that cork tapes can't offer. The Fizik tape is a little thinner than traditional tape, so if you're looking for extra padding, you might opt to put the Bike Ribbon Gel Pad under the wrap, or, for complete bar coverage, you can double-wrap your bars.
If you are searching for a bar tape that looks good and is long-lasting, this is the one for you.

Tape is comfortable, durable and looks great

I wanted a celeste-colored, leather-like tape for an old, steel bianchi and this is perfect. It's pretty easy to keep clean and not hard to wrap (though you need to put some muscle into it due to the lack of stretch), and it seems pretty durable. These aren't issues for me, but I don't find the tape to be particularly breathable and it definitely wouldn't be a great choice if you're hoping for some cushion.

I've been riding for thirty years, and have used Benotto to Cinelli Cork tape. I like this tape better than any other I've tried. Feels like a nice tennis racket grip, and wear-and-tear is very light so I get hours and hours and hours of top use out of it.

The soft suede texture feels great - soft and elegant without being too slippery. The tape is a little on the thin side, so if you are looking for lots of padding, add a layer if cheap cork tape underneath. Fizik also sells gel pads, but I found these to be too thick. The tape wears well, although the white tape gets dirty fast and is hard to clean.

I used the regular white tape on my wider road bars. Initially a bit slick in use so needed to wear gloves to keep a good grip, but after a couple of weeks there was enough tackiness in the tape to comfortably use without gloves. I like Fizik and had previously used soft touch tape, but that always stretched and curled up at the edges. After a couple of months on the bars, this version shows no signs of stretching and a quick wipe has removed any grime or marks.
