Great shoes for people with wide feet. East quick lace up with the boa. I like that you can reverse tightness with the boa in reverse clicks not just release and start over. Surprisingly grippy even when hike a bike up steep climbs. I thought with a mostly flat bottom I'd be slipping while hike a bike but there just as good if not better then a cleat style shoe. Comfortable to wear even on a 27 mile enduro ride. Tough too. I've got one caught between my crank and rock, dragging it against the rock. I thought for sure they'd have a good scratch on them. But nothing more then a scuff.

One of my favorite shoes. This is my second pair. They're robust and durable, so offer good protection from trail debris but still very comfortable. A tad warm when temps in the 90's. The outsole is decent but I find them a little 'slippy' in hike-a-bike situations because the lugs aren't that deep. The Boa along with the Velcro strap work well together and offer good adjustment options. I use them with cleats and no problem clipping in. The sole is very stiff, which I like to help transfer power to the pedals and eliminate hot spots to the foot. But still very comfortable to walk in. Sizing is spot on and the toe box is more roomy than the previous model from years ago. Great pricing, fast shipping and stellar service from BTD!

These shoes are great. I replaced an old pair of 510 impacts and was looking for a lower profile shoe, and these fit the bill. I like the ease of the boa system, especially on muddier rides. They're super easy to put on and take off. They cinch down pretty even if you flex them around a bit as you tighten them. I don't expect them to have the longevity of standard laces, but they seem well made and are servicable/replacable, so I'm happy to trade that for the ease of use. The soles are crazy stiff. There was a slight pressure point at the top of the shoe near my ankle for the first couple of rides, but I think it is because I sized down about 1/2 size too much. Since being broken in, I haven't felt any pressure point at all. I would say they run true to size.

Great shoe! Good fit and true to size. I wear an 11 in running and sports shoe.
I ride trail but like a stiff shoe from my roadie days and though this has a more freeride look and feel it is plenty stiff for those punchy sections or other harder efforts, comfortable off the bike as well with good traction on hike-a-bike

very stiff sole, which is great ,bit heavy, lots of room in the toe area. Happy with my purchase

These are great shoes when hitting rock gardens and rocky technical sections. Can clip out and still have firm contact with the pedals. Also, great for hike and bike sections too.
