I use the EVOC Bike Travel bag when take my bike on a plane. I have the bike bag frame that clamps my forks and back part of my bike using my front and back thru axles. So, instead of taking the chain off, I use the Feedback Sports Thru-Axle Chain Keeper. I shift into my front big chain ring and shift the back shifter all the way to the left (i.e. virtual biggest cog). There is enough tension in the chain that prevents chain slap on the chain stay. Now, I never travel without the Feedback Sports Thru-Axle Chain Keeper.

In the past I've used the quick release chain keepers for packing a bike, but at least the ones I have don't work with a thru axle. This not only works with a thru axle, but improves on the quick release design in that the "spool" can move back and forth on the axle. That could provide easier access when lubing the derailleur.

I've had a couple of quick release style chain keepers that I found little use for. But this is really useful. It's easier to use, and actually has some functionality. You can run through the gears when maintaining your chain. Bonus that its smaller size means you can keep it in your toolbox.

Very useful when removing rear wheel. Even if you don't have a rack, it' will make far easier to clean the fram and chain for a quick maintenance.

I have other chainkeepers in my box and one of them is even another Feeback Sports product. But this is the simplest and easiest to use out of all of them. I've only used this on my disc bikes, but I'm assuming there will be no issues with the other bikes in the stable. Just put the axle through this thing and go start cleaning or whatever it is you want to do on the bike. I love how I can shift through my gears with this bad boy on.

It does what it supposed to do and keep the chain from hanging down and makes it a lot easier to clean the chain.
Would recommend it.
