As a 60 year old lifelong cycling enthusiast, I am embarrassed to admit this is my 1st repair stand. After decades of precariously balancing my bike on stools, chairs, and the like, I finally did the right thing. Learn from me - if you work on your bike from time to time, don't wait, just get a decent stand!
The features that make this stand so good are the smooth and easy set-up, with well engineered quick releases, and a screw down clamp for the seat post, with its own quick release. The fact that the stand has a broad 3 legged base makes it very stable, a critical feature. I originally was going to buy the version without the carry bag, but it was out of stock, and this one was on sale, so I splurged. Turns out it was a lucky break, as my garage is quite cramped, and it's quite easy to put the stand in the bag, and then hang it from a hook out of the way. I would suggest considering getting the tool tray, as my one remaining issue is scattering the tools and lubes around the limited surface area I have.
4 stars for value only because it is on the pricey side. But an excellent stand - you'll be happy you bought it.

This is the ideal stand for me. I am really enjoying doing my own maintenance and this stand makes it so easy and convenient. Well constructed/durable/easy to use and maneuver bicycle. As always, whole process was smooth with BikeTiresDirect!

This is a top notch bike repair stand. I could not imagine how one could be any better. Expensive but.... not really because this is the only one that you will ever purchase.

Great setup and carry case.
Perfect for mountain bikes and road. Even an e-bike.

I've used this for 8+ years, and have found it to be fantastic for each use. I've used it mostly when building up bikes, but, I've used it for smaller tasks as well, such as adjusting a rear derailleur. It still looks and functions as brand new to my eyes.
