Cuts wind. Keeps you warm. A bit loud in heavy wind but a great cap in variable cold conditions. Rode in 35-40 and up to 55 with no issues.

I�ve had a few rides of this hat on now and it�s warm and water waking off the lid. Really comfortable and true to size.

This is my go to winter riding hat in the PNW, more or less keeping me dry and warm without overheating. There are a few seams that rub and sometimes bother by ears, and I wish it were more cozy. I assume the material used that keeps me dry and warm without overheating is necessary, but I have tried on other softer hats like this and you just don't get that cozy bundled up feeling with this one.

This hat is the 'Goldilocks' for me. I was looking for a hat that can cover my ears (ear flaps can be turned up), is warm but not too bulky, provides wind and rain protection and has a brim.

Fills my needs perfectly!
