Power meter for gravel

I've got a Niner RLT9 gravel bike that happened to come with an Easton crank set so when I saw this pop up on sale I grabbed it. It's really nice to have power data for my gravel rides and this is a nice option because it's safely inside the bb where it won't get dinged like a power pedal or a power crank arm. It plugs i to charge and the charge lasts a long time. I do have the benefit of having a dual power meter on my road bike and a Wahoo so I was able to get my left/right balance and calibrate all my power meters so having a left only reading isn't an issue.

Thank you for your feedback.

Slick Power Meter

I purchased this because I do a lot of gravel riding and wanted a power meter on my gravel bike. The options for power meters are often cranks or pedals (mostly) and I really didn't want to swap out my sweet carbon Easton crank arms. I also didn't want to put road pedals onto my gravel bike and deal with that fuss. This Easton CINCH went on sale at BikeTiresDirect and I jumped on it. It was a super easy install and set up. The charging is very convenient and I haven't had to recharge it yet. I happen to have a Wahoo smart trainer and Stages dual power meter crank set on my road bike so I've been able to essentially quantify the accuracy of all these to each other. My Stages dual measures spot on with my Wahoo, and my left/right is pretty well balanced. The Easton matched very closely to the Wahoo and the left crank arm of my Stages so I feel confident I'm getting an accurate measure of power most of the time. Much of our gravel here in Oregon has a lot of climbs and having a power measurement really helps me pace those climbs and I can even do structured workouts on gravel if I want. It'll really help when gravel racing season hits.
