Great shoe for the price

Just started using them, and like them quite a bit. Good sole. Really long laces, but not a problem to secure with the velcro strap. Sizes seem to run a bit large.

Thank you for your feedback.

Comfortable Shoe

Nothing new here, great shoe for the price. Extremely comfortable, runs on the large size...good for wide feet. Plus they are well ventilated, great for hot weather.

However, I have had an issue with one shoe...the cleat mounting plate on one show was extremely thin, such that my SPD cleat actually pulled out of the plate. I purchased heavier replacement plates from this site, and that fixed the mounting problem. But, the actual sole of the shoe was gouged up pretty well when that cleat came loose. So now, after many more miles, the sole is worn through under the cleat such that I cannot fully secure it anymore.

I have ordered another pair (at this price, why not?!), and I'll convert my current pair into regular street shoes.

Hopefully this was an isolated instance.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great Value For All Around Shoe

Decent shoe, I have a pair in each color. No complaints performance wise off road, but I do not do extreme mountain biking (shoe has never been submersed). It is sufficiently stiff but at the same time comfortable enough to walk around in off of the bike. IMO for the price when on special you can not beat. Only minor issue is the odd sizing, I am 9 1/2 US size and use the Diadora size 42. A size 43 is more like a 10 to 10 1/2 US, the first pair I bought was a 43 but was too big so gave them to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback.

Good value, not the best design

I use this as a commuter riding shoe (all weather), and it's been quite good. The only negative thing is that the laces are too long, and require being tucked in, or they get caught and shredded. The shoe would be way better without laces. Overall it's a good buy, comfortable shoe that is fairly true to size. Might not be the best shoe in wet conditions, but a good shoe to wear for riding to work.

Thank you for your feedback.

Comfortable solid shoes

These shoes fit well as long as you order one size down. Seemed to be well made. I had some slight freying of the velcro edges which I trimmed and are fine. Laces are way too long but an easy fix. Good shoes so far. No over-heating and comfortable fit. I use with SPD cleats and no pontoons needed.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great comfortable shoes makes it easier to pedal with really good traction.

great shoes worth the money would be even better if they had extra velcro instead of laces but still really good shoes.

Decent entry level shoe

A good shoe at a great price when it was a BTD. I did have to shorten the laces as they were super long. They do run large as others have mentioned. The only complaint is the plate to attach the clips. They broke on the second ride. The metal was extremely thin, but a new set and I was good to go.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great shoe for the price.

The only mistake I made with these shoes is not buying a second pair! Bought them when they were a daily special. They are very comfortable, I would wear them for my daily shoe, with the included cover plate. I wear a 9.5 normally, and the 43s fit me perfectly.

Thank you for your feedback.

Good town shoes

I like these shoes. I bought it to move in town with my hybrid bike and walk a bit. They're perfect for this purpose as they as are soft, maybe too soft to be used as exclusive bike shoes.

Thank you for your feedback.

They work

I bought these shoes on the daily deal and am glad I didn't pay full price, they work as cycling shoes. They run a bit big, I typically wear a 45, and should have probably gone with a 44. The comfort is OK, they seem to breathe well and the cleat doesn't click on the ground too much. The laces are way too long, and the Velcro strap is a good feature but poorly executed. Overall, I wouldn't get these again, stick with the brands that make cycling shoes and are more trusted.

TL,DR

Decent comfort and breathable.

Poor execution on design and sizing.

Thank you for your feedback.

Very nice shoe, at a bargain price!!!

These shoe are COMFORTABLE!!! I have wide feet, and these fit perfect. Listen to biketiresdirect, and order a size or half a size smaller. I usually wear a size 45.5 in specialized and I order size 45 and they are still about a 14 gap in front of my longest toe. There are not that stiff, but plenty stiff for casual riding, commuting and anything that's not to rigorous. Very easy to walk in and around places. I am glad I purchase these shoe and at bargain price from BTD. Very nice workmanship on the shoe. Thanks again BTD.

Comfortable for Wide Feet

These replaced my previous Shimano mountain biking shoes. They are wide enough for my 11.5 EEE feet, and very comfortable, yet secure. Definitely order 1 size down. I usually get 47 but went with 46 for these. (also, on the shoe box, they were notated as EU 46, US 12).

Thank you for your feedback.

Great shoes but choose your size carefully!

These shoes run slightly larger than normal. I ordered a size smaller after reading some reviews and they still were slightly too big. Be safe order 1.5 sizes smaller. Shoes are good by the way, stand up to punishment well.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great All-Around Cycling Shoe

This shoe is a great value in my opinion. They are attractive, comfortable and appear to be well made. Also, they're cheap. They are a huge upgrade from the athletic shoes I had been wearing for biking. As a testiment to their comfort and functionality, I just finished my first century ride without a hint of a complaint from my feet!

Nice all around shoe for the money.

I recently built up a commuter bike that I could use for local travel of less than 40 mi. rides. I was looking for essential bikewear that could pass for casual clothing, so this included shorts and shoes. These shoes fit the bill well. They are great for cycling but also allow easy walking for those places where I need to dismount. They also breathe well, so they don't get too hot on longer rides in 80 degree, humid weather. The size runs a bit large, so if you're on the border of the sizing chart, go with the smaller size.

Thank you for your feedback.

So far a solid show.

I bought these shoes to replace a worn out pair of lakers. They were on sale at BTD at a real bargain. The shoe is comfortable but heed the warning that these run large. I usually wear a 45 and a have room in the 44. I use these with my big dummy when I'm hauling kids groceries and generally riding around. They are comfortable and seem to be well made but have only been wearing them a couple of months, so will need to see how they hold up with more use, exposure to the elements, etc. I replaced the laces, which were ridiculously long - not a problem but not ideal for cycling shoes. Why do shoes have such long laces, anyway?

Thank you for your feedback.

RIde or Walk in Comfort

Wanted to try spd pedalsw a compatible cleat shoe mainly for comfort walking off the bike. These shoes were a great buy (on sale) as they are very comfortable both on and off the bike and look good. I generally wear a dress shoe size 9.5D44. Took the recommendation (thanks BD) and ordered 1 size less, the 43 and they fit great.

Thank you for your feedback.

Good shoe, great value as a daily special

I use the shoe for commuting and will use it for occasional mountain biking. I got it as a daily special and it was a great price. It seems to be well made, it's comfortable and has a fairly stiff sole. I don't like to walk in them much, but if a cycling shoe is a halfway decent cycling shoe it is a terrible walking shoe.
