I use this medium weight base layer on a daily basis year around in Central Oregon. I find the material soft and not scratchy. It stretches for a close fit making it easy to layer over. It's true to size for an XL and the arms are long with added thumb holes for optional use or for securing while layering over with a tight jersey or jacket with cuffs. I cycle year-round and the neck zipper works great for venting. I own three in different colors.
