I bought these tires on the recommendation of a few friends for my Lauf Seigla gravel bike. I do a lot of single track riding and I wanted tires that gave me more traction and compliance without slowing me down. These are the ticket. I am amazed at how fast they roll. Sure, I could probably go a little faster with a slightly narrower tire, but then I would lose stability on the trails. I am very happy with these tires and highly recommend them.

I love these tires for their low rolling resistance, and better than it should be traction on hard pack, kitty litter, and light rocky terrain. These are not designed for serious cobble but are amazingly durable even at lower pressures. My go to tire on my XC Ibis Exie for everything but serious mud and extreme rocks.

If you can fit 2.2s on your gravel bike these are a great choice. Proven low rolling resistance and very puncture proof. Descents that are sketchy on 40mm tires are much easier with these. There's almost not a bad line they're so forgiving. The biggest challenge is finding them in stock.

As much as I didn't want to like this tire it has quickly become my new favorite mtb Tire. Fast, grippy and decent protection.

These tires do what they were designed to do. They are light and fast. Grip is more than sufficient despite the small size of the knobs. They installed easy and hold air without any sealant seepage. In addition to that they are less expensive than the other brand of tires i also use. This has become my go to race tire.

Love these for their intended use. My go to for dry conditions when there's a need for speed.

Others are getting good; but its the best IMHO

I'm using these tires on my ibis DB nine mostly for gravel riding. They're fantastic they're super light they hold air well I've had no problems with punctures and for a small tire with small knobs they've got a lot of grip even in the loose stuff.

Sooo the Race King is fast, like you can feel its faster than Maxxis stock tires on 2021 Giant Anthem - period. BUT they don't have the tread for slop or loose stuff - you kind fly through it. If you need to change direction or grip hard - best to surf the slide. still fast is fast and I would take the speed over control or short track racing.

I use these tires on my bikepacking rig. They roll fast on hard pack and got a good grip when the terrain demands it. They are also very light at only 580gr while the Vittoria Mezcal 2.35 on my MTB weighs 730 gr, that 150gr difference is significant when weight counts.

Rides well on gravel but does not perform well on wet pavement or loose rock.

The fastest rolling MTB tire I have tried. Even faster rolling that a Maxxis Aspen or RR. However, it takes some skill to get it to hook-up. On loose, it's the sketchiest tire I've ridden. If you are ridding anything technical, this tire requires considerable focus.

Used all summer last year in MI - even handles "light" mud no problems. Super chunky rocks, slop?
