[...] I discovered these wonderful tires when they went on sale for 40 bucks each. I took a chance, and it paid off. I have them on my TT bike, and all my racing bikes and they are night and day between any other tire I've ridden on and I have tried all brands.other continental tires, michelin, schwalbe, panaracer, victoria(you cannot give me victoria tires). The most comparable tire is the schwalbe ultremo zx running at max pressure, but I would say the Ironman triathlon ride is more supple on accelerations, and rolls just as well. This tire is absolutely not a rebadge of the GP4000s, which is the tire I settled for because the triathlon tires were [$], at the cheapest for over a year, and I cannot afford one tire for the price of two. The GP4000s feel like molasses compared to the triathlon tires. I believe it partially has to do with the 330tpi casing, vs the 120tpi of the GP4000s or the regular GP, which gives it the supple tubular feel, which couple that with a 25mm wide deep dish rim and you simply have magic through the corners. By the way, the GP4000s is a rebadge of the GP, which I believe the GP is just as good a tire, but with thicker rubber so it will last longer, and is cheaper. Value I would give it 4/5, because they are just too darn expensive, but truly worth it for your race day bike. Flats have never been an issue, all my tires seem to succumb to glass, wet weather, steel staples, and stupidly not paying attention to road debris. I wish that guy who posted that he got rid of them would have given them to me, because the minute you see these tires go on sale for about [$], buy six of them . Please note these tires are out of stock for a reason, because my fellow sage riders know a gem when they see one.

Great overall tire for riding and racing. The only thing I wish it had is a wear indicator built into the tire.

entered an Ironman 70.3 with these tires. Newer tires, had about 70 miles on them to make sure they were ok prior to race day.
Three flats on rear tire (starting at mile six, then seven, then 8). almost cost me a DNF. I was seriously bummed.
Fortunately (after three tubes), placed a patch on the blown tube of the two spares I carried and on the inside of the tire weak spot, inflated to half pressure and was able to at least finish the race.
I bought three of these, (two for the bike and a spare), I'm pitching them all. not worth chancing it again.

This is clearly a rebadged Grand Prix 4000, without the superfluous tread. Fast and grippy, with excellent puncture resistance and tread life. Get it on sale and it's a fantastic value.

This price for a fast riding lightweight tire like this is great.
These things roll so fast for me downhill, I am always passing other riders - even when I'm coasting.
The only caveat is that you should watch out for wear. I've had mine on for something less than a years worth of riding maybe 600 miles and I've had 2 flats on my front in 3 weeks.
I noticed some nicks and bulges on my front today while changing the flat again.

I grab a couple of these whenever I see them at a good price. I have tried many tires and seem to have gravitated towards this as a fast training tire which is durable, high quality and I wouldn't hesitate to race it (if I raced on clinchers).
There is nothing that is not to love about this quality tire!

So far so good. Put them on my training TT wheels. Seem to roll smooth and grip well. Not enough miles to comment on toughness and durability. SOCAL not much wet to try them in.

These tires are my go-to as their performance to price ratio is fantastic.

I have about 400 miles on them so far and they still seem like new tires. They lack the grip and feel of Michelin Pro 3s but seem much less prone to get nicks and cuts. We have a lot of rough pavement here and so far these tires have been great. I would recommend these tires. Especially at this great price.

Very good solid race tire, and would rate it as best value. It would be hard to beat the price.

Use for daily practice. Installed easy on Mavic Ksyriums. Grippy and easy rolling.

Makes a great front tire. There is a ridge on the center that is a bit slow to wear down.

about 1500 km into my first set and I'm pretty happy, the tires are just barely starting to show signs of wear and the shape is starting to lose its roundness, I still expect another 1000-1500 out of them. Great buy, very fast, quite light and no flats thus far.
Some of the reviews mentioned these are hard to get on rims... if you know what you are doing they are a breeze to get on rims. Watch a couple of youtube how-to's if needed but it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to get these mounted.

I got them for about $35 each and they are great so far.

Bang for your buck!
I was in need of a new set of tires and wasn't in a position to drop lots of cash for them. With this tire you get a low rolling resistance and the added benefit of superior durability. I have put over 350 miles on these since buying and have had no complaints. Sure there are better tires out there, but you will be looking at paying almost double the price. Definitely will buy again in the future if needed!

Good, smooth, fast ride. Used these racing last Ironman event.

I bought these tires to use on my Ironman-distance triathlon. The GP Triathlon tire is the same tire as the GP 4000s, but without a tread pattern. They are a very puncture resistant and fast tire. I believe they were one of the factors in how fast I was on the bike portion of my Ironman triathlon. I completed the bike portion in almost a 2 MPH average faster than my training rides without these tires. I will buy these tires again!

Good tire for the tough Texas roads. The heat and chip-seal is tough on tires and these tires are awesome! I will buy these tires again.

I've been using these tires for a few weeks now after riding my krylion's into the dust and so far I've been quite impressed. They are noticeably faster than the krylion's and I'm hoping they get similiar thread life. I've got about 1000km on the tri's so far and there's no noticeable thread life wear, tires are still nice and round, only wear I've noticed is the skid mark I created dogding a car, for a short skid it sure took a fair chunk of rubber off these tires. If I can get 4000km out of these I'll be stoked. Realistically I'd like to get around 3000 km out of them. I definetly recommend these tires.
