This is a road-oriented tire that generally behaves like a lot of higher-end tires of this type--good durability, reasonably quick, and fairly comfortable. What sets it apart is that it's actually available in 650b in a size like 32mm. My new Surly Preamble is the small size designed for 650b wheels, and tires like this are rare--typically you'll find much wider gravel tires or very tough but slower touring tires in 650b. I wanted to see if I could make this bike into a rough equivalent of my old 700c road bike, and a set of these tires helped make that happen. Being a little wider than what I was used to on the old bike (32 vs. 28), they also do a nice job at soaking up the occasional gravel road and lousy pavement. They are on the pricier side, but after 1000 miles, it looks like they've held up better than most of the 700c tires I've used in the past, so the cost may not be a concern.

Sidewall tear on front in 100miles. Rear puncture a plug couldnt handle 200 miles later. $200 for 300 miles. Im a few hundred into second pair, but scared to do a multi-day tour.
Very fast. Maybe I have bad luck, they seem like great race tires and not a daily driver. No problem installing. Well see how second set goes.

Been riding these for about 500 miles, a couple hundred miles bike camping carrying 45 lbs of gear. Tires performed well, good grip and comfortble ride at 60-70 psi. Having a bit of trouble keeping them inflated over night, but likely use error mounting and sealing.
