Brings out handling

I went tubeless, my bike handled like it did when it was new. Any line i wanted to follow in a turn, the bike dove into, and begged for me to go faster the next time. Truly an underrated tire.

Thank you for your feedback.

Theres not a better tire out there!

Ive had less flats and less punctures since making the switch to the GP 5000. Great choice, you wont regret it!

Excelent grip and almost no noise

Great grip, better than GP4000iis, less noise too, tends to soften faster and in teh wet is as good as a wet tyre

Thank you for your feedback.

My go to tires

I have had these on most of my bikes in a size 28mm and they are lighter, more puncture resistant, and have better rolling resistance compared to the GP 4000. I find the tires to be very grippy, fast, and knock on one I haven't had one puncture yet. The only downsides is that there a true road tire so I wouldn't really want to do light gravel on these. Secondly these aren't cheap. I would recommend buying them in a 2 pack to get the best savings.

Thank you for your feedback.

Rarely get flats.

Ride these in my bikes in Napa Valley. Rough rides, potholes etc. Would not use any other tire.

Thank you for your feedback.

They're faster than any tire I've ever used

I use this tire for my daily rides(5-6 days a week) and with the exception of a couple of flats early on,once I started using heavy duty intertubes I have not had a problem. My speed might have been a little faster with thinner tubes but it's nothing significant. I'm not a racer

Dependable

Great tires. I wish they were a little cheaper but it is what it is. I get 3-4,00 miles out of mine.

Initial Review

Tires feel great but definitely fit truer to size than 4000's. The 700x23's measure 24mm on my HED Belgiums vs. 25mm for the 23mm 4000's. I couldn't clear 25mm 4000s on my frame, will probably give the 25mms 5000s a go next time around.

Thank you for your feedback.

Rolls like a Pro One... wears like iron.. hard to puncture

1500 miles plus this 5 month winter south Tx.. compared the wear indicators to the new one waiting to be mounted on the front vs.... one can not see any difference in their depth. I do not run sealant.. just enough to

get a decent sidewall seal and then carry plugs and seal if needed. Noted many cuts.. no leaks. 28mm.

Pro One on the front is holding up well 25mm.. yet on the front. I'm 195 lbs.. fitness rider. Like the P Ones.. just the 5000 is superior in all respects. IMO experimenting w roll out testing in various tires.. I'd vote for 28's over 25's for rolling resistance. Especially if your wheelset is light wt.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great tire, good road gripping, long lasting

Been riding these tires for a long time. Only thing that is a con, they can be hard to put on (or it could be my 78 yr old hands)

Thank you for your feedback.

Grippy and smooth

This tire grips nicely in corners and rolls smoothly. It seems as durable if not more so than its GP 4000 predecessor. I've put about 1K miles on these tires, riding generally bad roads with lots of urban debris and they're holding up well so far.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great Tire

Light and supple. Much better ride than gatorskin. Not as good as velo flex, but better tread wear. No flats so far after several hundred miles!
