Have been using Continental tires for several years. This is my first set of 5000's and they have lived up to expectations. I do a fair amount of city / road riding. No flats. No traction issues.

I've been riding Clement strata lgg tires and when the sale on these tires jumped up when I needed new tires I bought them. They went on easy and I could feel an improvement in comfort and I think in speed. Had them a few months now, they ride great.

Great road feel and reasonably good durability. However, I have Mavic Cosmic carbon UST wheels. I got sick of the tubeless silliness and went back to regular clinchers, partly because these rims are really hard to set up with anything but Mavic tires. The TL version of the GP 5000 is not compatible with these wheels (go try and find that information!) but I thought the regular version would not be an issue. It is.

Got the look I wanted with the performance I already knew and the price was right

I ride about 8,000 miles a year and have been tubeless on the road since 2014. I have ridden a bunch of tires and was happy to see Continental come out with a tubeless tire finally. I bought a set and have had so many punctures that I finally gave up and threw them out. Granted the punctures always sealed before all air was lost but it happened so often I was sick of getting sealant on my bike and person. I would not reccomend these tires.

I use these tires on rail to trails. Paved mostly. No issues. Tires are rated for 123 psi. I tried that, but the tires rode like they were made of solid rock. Reduced pressure to 100 psi, and it made all the difference. I have always trusted Continental. Never had problems with their tires.

Light weight, good grip, and comfortable riding. My favorite road tire.

Loved the GP 4000 because of the combination of speed and durability. The 5000s are faster but poor durability. 3 flats in the first 100 miles with cuts in the tire on regular San Diego Roads. Had to throw the tire away before wasting more money on tubes.

IMO still the best tires. I use tubes, both latex, and TPU. Don't care for the hassle of tubeless. Rugged, fast, great cornering.

Fast, durable, light. Not aware of anything better.

Durable, fast rolling, easy to install tire. Have used Continental's for years. The 5000 just improves on earlier models.

I have tried many different tires over the years and always came back to Continental 4000. These new 5000s are truly an improvement over an already great tire. The ride is smooth and comfortable. The cornering is where I really notice it. These are very sure and confident. I live in Colorado and love riding in the mountains with these. So far seem very tough as well with no flats, or cuts. Not sure on the mileage yet.

Can't say enough about these. My bike felt better than new, wanna say game changer, but that's overused. I felt it brought out all the handling characteristics that was engineered into my bike. Made me more stable in crosswinds, greater stability at high speeds, best all around tire on the market.

These are I believe about the best clincher road tires I have ever used. A good compromise on the essential characteristics.

I'm a fan of Continentals. My very first ride with these tires I managed to pick up a goat head and that caused a little road side delay, but other than that, I've put a few hundred miles these. So far, they have been very stable and predictable handling, so i couldn't be happier

I went tubeless, my bike handled like it did when it was new. Any line i wanted to follow in a turn, the bike dove into, and begged for me to go faster the next time. Truly an underrated tire.

Ive had less flats and less punctures since making the switch to the GP 5000. Great choice, you wont regret it!

Great grip, better than GP4000iis, less noise too, tends to soften faster and in teh wet is as good as a wet tyre

I have had these on most of my bikes in a size 28mm and they are lighter, more puncture resistant, and have better rolling resistance compared to the GP 4000. I find the tires to be very grippy, fast, and knock on one I haven't had one puncture yet. The only downsides is that there a true road tire so I wouldn't really want to do light gravel on these. Secondly these aren't cheap. I would recommend buying them in a 2 pack to get the best savings.

Ride these in my bikes in Napa Valley. Rough rides, potholes etc. Would not use any other tire.
