The GP5000 is a really nice tire. Supple and fast. Problem is that it seems to have very limited sidewall protection. I've had more punctures in the last few months with these than I've had with all other tires combined, and all have been sidewall punctures. For now at least, I've switched to the 4 Seasons, which seem to have a bit more protection and are almost as fast.

My experience with Continental 4000 and 5000 road tires is superior. They ride best and last longest of any tires I have used over the years.

I used these for Ironman Wisconsin. Much of the road surfaces were rather poor. And the railroad tracks were worse than the ones I’ve crossed in the Pittsburgh area. There were many flat tires on the bike course, and I’m very thankful to say I wasn’t one of them! These tires held up wonderfully!!

I have about 500 mi. on these tires so far. The grip and ride feel are great. I've got over 50,000 mi. on various bikes and tires. These are a great tire for the money.

Still good after 400 miles. Nice surface grip. I've road on very rough and pot hole filled roads with no complaints.

Used to ride the GP 4000S and I switched to the 5000, it's keeping me satisfied.

Great road feel with adequate puncture protection. Loved the 4000 but they seemed to have vulnerable side walls. 5000 seems to have better sidewalls.

I like the puncture resistance of the tire. I live in the goat head state of NM and these tires roll nice and keep me from repairs.

32cm nice grip and more comfort. How long will they last?

I have been using the Continental Grand Prix tires for several years now. This newest version seems to work well. I will continue to keep buying them. I have used them with Latex tubes in the past and they work very well. Currently I am trying the Tubolito tubes which are working well with these tires. Not quite the same ride feel as with the Latex tubes though.

Better puncture protection for my needs than any other tire I have used that rolls this well. The compound also feels very grippy versus other similar racing/training tires. Tread wear far surpasses cotton casing tires for a tire that isn't very slower in use by my estimates.

I've tried Michelin and other brands of road bike tires and always go back to these. They are great. Fast, hug the road and I like the wear markers.

I purchased the cream wall tires , look great and Very smooth riding tire, great puncture resistant tire over 700 miles. Won't use no other tire. Worth every penny !

Rolls very quickly plus great grip around corners. Top quality tire.

One of the lowest rolling resistance tires and all around performers out there for the money. This has become my "go-to" tire and have it on several bikes.

I use them for group rides. I don't like getting flats, so I use Conti tires and tubes.

Then only tire I race and train on. Ever since nobody is racing on tubulars anymore.

I can't think of a better all around tire.
