The gp5000 are great tires and look great. I've been running 28's until my last order and I got the 30's. They ride great.

These tires are great! I've been using 25s and made the upgrade to the 28s.

Bought these for a 200mi, 2-day charity grand fondo as an upgrade from an all-condition tire I was training on. I'm 186lb so run these 32mm at 65-68psi. Comfortable yet firm and secure in the turns. Only one flat in the ~800mi I have on them.

Had previously owed and was very satisfied with the Continental 5000. I was looking for this tire with yellowish looking side walls to compliment the Rage Red on my Trek Damone and found it with a creme side wall, very satisfied and happy with looks and performance.

Simply the best- no better tire, period.

The 4000 and 5000 series tires are in my opinion the best tires that very seldom experience a flat since my old Wobler glue ups from the 80's

These have performed well in all conditions and are noticably smoother than other tires I've ridden in this price range. Haven't tested in wet conditions. I ride debris ridden urban and suburban roads, and the only flat in 1K miles this far was a saw blade that slashed the tire sidewall to sidewall.

GP 5ks are my favorite overall tire. The tan sidewalls seem to go on easier than all black. Fast, durable, feel good, and corner well. Other tires might gain a few more watts or have more durability but these are the workhorse do-it-all. Especially if you're still playing with tubes.

These tires seem to hold up just as well as gator skins that friends use. Good gripping, and easy to change tubes.

I swapped these GP5000s on my bike as my group rides got into the 17+ mph range. I find them faster and they corner better while seeming to handle training volume on mediocre roads pretty well. I opted to go up to 32s to maximize my coverage on chip seal roads and they work well.

Use these for everything on my road bike - training, racing, KOM hunting, etc. They have a good combination of high puncture resistance (I only get a couple per year) and low rolling resistance (according to those who test). I always use mine with latex tubes for a springy, light feel. I've tried other tires with even lower rolling resistance, but typically come back to Contis for almost all of my annual mileage.

I ran the 4000 for 15 years without any problems. The 5000 has suffered a few catastrophic failures for me. A couple 1/4 inch tears which I was unable to repair on the road and had to call for rides. After a ton of flats I will no longer be using. Nice tire when it is not flat! Too fragile for the road.

These are not the tires I would advise running ad a training tire, but I wouldn't run anything other than these on the track or during a crit. Honestly, the security that you feel cornering on these babies is worth the price of admission.

Had 3 of 5 with defective casings. Had 3 flats in the last week and the tires I was using before hardly ever flatted. They feel and look great, but I'm not sure these are the tires for me anymore. BTD took care of my issues. No problems there.

Quick and light. After approximately 300 miles of road riding, the tire developed a hole in the sidewall and the tube began bubbling out, ruining the tire. The Continental GP 5000 is undoubtedly a fast tire. However, I can't recommend them because of this durability issue.

Conty's are my go to tire. Just a great tire gif training and racing.

Great tire. Sidewalls only weak point and latest version is better. I use these year around.

I've taken 2 pretty good with this tire and I think they're really good. I will send more comments about them soon.

These tires I use on my tri-bike and have for years...excellent overall for handling and wear.

I think the size 28mm tire is about the perfect size for the road after many years of riding a size 23mm. It also allows you to go a few more places than a thinner tire. I got the transparent version which looks retro and the performance is that they feel fast, sturdy and perfect for the chip and seal roads where I ride. I would recommend to anyone who wants a fast, durable, stable tire.
