Good grip and excellent for rough roads

I bought these 28mm tires for the rough roads in Marin County, CA. Excellent grip and forgiving over cracks, ruts and potholes, and better than my previous 23 mm Contis for the roads here. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your feedback.

Grippy without feeling sticky. This tire is dependable. Pricing has skyrocketed lately so 5 stars when on sale.

This tire stands up to the rigors of high volume riding.

Thank you for your feedback.

Tube version GP5000s sizing versus GP4000s

A GP5000s 28mm is a bit smaller in height and width than a 25mm GP4000s, as measured installed on a Shimano RS500 alloy wheelset. I assume the 28mm would measure wider, on a wider rim. Old 25mm GP4000s tires just barely cleared my brake bridge, but the new 28mm tires have about 2 more mm of vertical clearance.

New tires get a bit larger after a few days of being installed and under pressure. The GP5000s 25mm tires are even smaller still yet. I use 95 psi in the 25mm GP4000s and 95 psi in the 28mm GP5000s tires, both ride the same near as I can tell.

Thank you for your feedback.

Excellent tires

My preference over Vittoria. Truly a great combination of puncture resistance and low resistance.

Comfortable and Secure

Bought these for a 200mi, 2-day charity grand fondo as an upgrade from an all-condition tire I was training on. I'm 186lb so run these 32mm at 65-68psi. Comfortable yet firm and secure in the turns. Only one flat in the ~800mi I have on them.

Thank you for your feedback.

Exactly what I was looking for

Had previously owed and was very satisfied with the Continental 5000. I was looking for this tire with yellowish looking side walls to compliment the Rage Red on my Trek Damone and found it with a creme side wall, very satisfied and happy with looks and performance.

Thank you for your feedback.

Very good tire

Easy to mount, good looking, holds up very well, mounts slightly thinner measured the 28mm as 25mm, so far 2,000 miles without any issues

Fast, comfortable, & durable

The first time I used the Conti 5000 was the first time I used a tire that I could feel a difference, improvement in my ride. I just do not have puncture problems with Conti's.

Thank you for your feedback.

Smooth roller worth the money

These have performed well in all conditions and are noticably smoother than other tires I've ridden in this price range. Haven't tested in wet conditions. I ride debris ridden urban and suburban roads, and the only flat in 1K miles this far was a saw blade that slashed the tire sidewall to sidewall.

Thank you for your feedback.

Bang for buck!

GP 5ks are my favorite overall tire. The tan sidewalls seem to go on easier than all black. Fast, durable, feel good, and corner well. Other tires might gain a few more watts or have more durability but these are the workhorse do-it-all. Especially if you're still playing with tubes.

Thank you for your feedback.

Well Made Tires That Go The Distance

Have been using Grand Prix now for about 5 years. Very satisfied with performance. Well made tire. Get good mileage, which is an improvement over previously purchased Michelin Pro 4s.

Solid road tire for fast training

I swapped these GP5000s on my bike as my group rides got into the 17+ mph range. I find them faster and they corner better while seeming to handle training volume on mediocre roads pretty well. I opted to go up to 32s to maximize my coverage on chip seal roads and they work well.
