While the GP 5000s are great for racing, I use a set for daily riding/training. The tires are great on the pockmarked roads on which I train, even in wet weather.

Improve handling and speed

Marketers tell us, new and improved, but I cannot really tell the difference between the 4000 and 5000 tires, both roll fast and are susceptible to sidewall gashes. My rear Grand Prix 4000 and 5000 never wear out in the rear tire, they always gash out in the sidewall.

The 5000 is the replacement for my go to 4000 SII. Improved rolling resistance, puncture resistance and grip makes this my new go to tire. It has the nice aero shape of the 4000 and rides just as nice. Highly recommend the 5000.

I use these on the road 50-75 miles a week . They hold the road very well . First night out ran into heavy rain 5 miles into a 25 mile ride.They did very well at 32 mph in a tight down hill curve. I was stupid but they were fantastic.

I use them for cycling. I like their durability and smooth ride.

I'm happy to be back on the Conti's.

Fast rolling, grippy tire. 4-500 miles in and no complaints.

Can't go wrong with Conti tires. Simply the best.

Fast and reliable. Easy to change and flat more than gatorskins but a better race feel. Good for about 1500 miles
