Tires were a little tight to put on. However, they feel great when riding!

Great riding tire, love the feel of these and do think they are an improvement in ride over the 4000s but I have already had several flats and a couple good slices in the tread which require a replacement after 2 months and approx 800 miles of riding. The all season 4000 offer the best puncture resistance for me and tread wear but not as smooth of ride as the new 5000

The GP5000 feels more grippy than the 4000's and slightly more durable than the Vitoria Corsa G. Tire seems to wear quickly.

I put these new 5000s on my bike. I liked the claim of increased protection from flats. 3 miles into ride 2 and I had a flat. So much for that claim from Continental.

Vittoria Corsa has been my choice tire for close to 15 years. Built a bike from ground up and was suggested trying Conti 5000. With some reservation I installed a set a year ago. Extremely pleased with the ride comfort and reliability. Im on my second set and most likely will continue to use them. Love the wear indicators.

Improve handling and speed

Marketers tell us, new and improved, but I cannot really tell the difference between the 4000 and 5000 tires, both roll fast and are susceptible to sidewall gashes. My rear Grand Prix 4000 and 5000 never wear out in the rear tire, they always gash out in the sidewall.

Fast rolling, grippy tire. 4-500 miles in and no complaints.
