Road cycling in south FL with ride lengths of 30 - 70 miles is typical for me now. Continental tires are smooth-rolling, dependable, and have a good grip on the road. I know what to expect out of them and it's the tire I look for when reordering.

Love these tires , rarely flat . They have gotten me through many triathlons with no flats . Easy to get on and off .

Just completed a 50 mile ride out to Corbett yesterday from Northeast Portland and hit a lot of glass but not a single flat because these tires are fantastic and not prone to flats.
I put at least 5000 miles a year on my bike and I've got a whole year with these tires and only one flat

You already know, these are great. The gold standard of tubed road tires.

I have used these tires for 12 years and I've never had problems. Lots of chip seal, lots of crap in bike lanes and even ride on some forestry roads and that's tires perform better than I could have ever expected!! I have gotten 6800 miles on 1 set of these tires this year and the wear dots probably have another 2000 miles to go. They have handled exceptional well in the Oregon rain! I highly recommend these tires!

I've been a Continental Grand Prix rider for years. When I upgraded my bike to use a 700/28 I couldn't believe the increased comfort and handling on downhills. Durability is key; I'm a road biker on backroads that could use a lot of TLC and I've never been let down with the Grand Prix 5000 Road Tire. I have recommended it to my group and to anyone looking for a great tire.

Installed these before heading out on a week-long ride. Perfomed well in all conditions - wet, dry, steep and curvy downhills and even some gravel.

Continental is fabulous and Western's prices are the best, you cannot go wrong.

The 32mm tires are buttery smooth and fast.

Great tire on all accounts, traction, handling, wear,
puncture resistance and ease of changing.

It has held up to pretty much every surface I have been on, with excellent roll and soft feel.

Great tires. Have always run Continental tires on my road bike. Same wear but better feel than the old 4000s.

You know the script. GPs are great tires and the 5000 is the next iteration of this greatness. Shop around. Compare. Then get another set of GPs. They are a beast to get on the first time though...

Have had these for about 6 weeks. They roll nicely and are lighter than my Michelin Power Endurance. Time will tell how long they last but ' so far so good'. They seem to grip the road well on descents and through curves. I bought the 28mm and I like the feel of them although for some reason they don't look as wide as the Michelins

You will love these tires especially at this price.

I have always used the Continental Grand Prix's on my wheels. I tried a competitor tire for a short period of time, was not as comfortable with the cornering ability and had a series of flats. Went back to the Grand Prix's and couldn't be happier.

I have used this tire exclusively on all my bikes since it came out. It has a great road feel and feels fast. I rarely get punctures and the tire lasts a long time for having such grippy rubber.

Extremely pleased with performance and durability for this Clydesdale. Came to these after a long run with a now discontinued tire from a different manufacturer. After riding the new tires for several weeks I ordered several spares at Western's great prices!!

really like the tread pattern on these tires and they are great in in wet weather, they can be a challenge to put on but if you leave them in the sun or in the a bucket of hot water it will make them easier to put on, make sure to put the on with arrow facing forward.
