Really like my new tires. Ride is very smooth. I highly recommend to anyone needing new tires to consider getting a set of these.

I mounted these GP4000 S II tires on my New Zipp's, 404 Carbon Clincher's, WOW!! What a difference in ride and performance. I picked up a mile and half per hour!!

The Conti GP 4000 S II is a fantastic tire that is long lasting, puncture resistant, and yields a fast yet soft riding experience. The gripping power is excellent, even in wet conditions, yet soft enough to absorb the contours of the rode for a pleasant ride experience. a bargain at BTD prices.

Not as aero as 23's on my wide ENVE rims, but MUCH less abusive to me on the crappy strips of broken pavement that qualify as a road in Houston. I'm running 78psi in them and the ride is sublime!

One caveat is that the bike steers a bit quicker and is a bit more unstable in sprints, but I just need to readjust to that effect.

I normally get 2,000 miles out of these tires. Rolling resistance is great. An important feature is installing tires compliant with tire errors. Unfortunately, finding those arrows can be quite difficult.

Put 2 new 4000's on a new set of HED wheels. In 2 years, ZERO flats (durability), sub 430 century (speed). Replaced the rear tire after 1 year, the front is still going with wear indicators still visible.the PERFECT tire

I went through many tires including Michelin, Schwalbe, and Continental and this is the tire that I put on all of my road bikes now. Fast enough to best my cycling bodies on almost every sprint, and durable enough to train on. I've even gone on some gravel and offroad on it.

I've ridden Conti Grand Prix 4000 for years now. They are my go to tire for road cycling and when I have an event. I've used them for several half and full Ironman triathlons and they've never let me down. I live in Orange County California and since we don't get much rain, they are perfect for our dry, sandy conditions.
