The Gatorskins offer good durability and reliability with reasonably good road feel. I don't race, so I am more concerned with avoiding flats when I might be 10 to 25 miles away from home or where my car is parked.

I've been using Gator Skins for a few years now, and nothing else will go on my bike. I recommend them to all my cycling friends. I will continue to use Gator Skins as long as I'm riding.

These are great tires for making sure you are not going to get a flat in most cases, however they def ride alittle heavier then some other tires. They are good tho, they'll get the job done.

I've been using 25mm tires FOR EVER!!!! (over 20 years); love them. Switched to Conti Gatorskins back in 2008 or 2009. Lots of mileage, very few flats (a handful in all these years), decent ride (combination of compliance and traction), and when they're on sale (like these were), I buy a pair.

Great tire very flat proof and rolls and handles great.

Used these tires for years, have had good luck with them, long wearing, and a decent tire for hard, competitive riding. Can't beat the price when on sale.

I have run these tires for many years, and have no complaints. Riding in the NW United States all year around, an no problem with flats! I keep them inflated solid before every ride, and I run them until no life is left. I have run the 25's and 32's.

I have been using these tires since 2004 and I have been very pleased with their durability and puncture resistance. I always carry a spare tube, patches and a pump. I typically get 5000 + miles on the rear tire and much more on the front and only rarely need to fix a flat. By rarely , I mean maybe every couple of years.

I love these tires this is my 3rd pair of gatorskins. The black sidewalls look great. I ride in a city. I've pulled glass and metal out of these tires without getting a puncture. I highly recommend this product.

...but with the durability comes weight. Most times riding in the cascade foothills Ill take that trade every day, riding over glass and general roadside debris. There are days when Id like a lighter tire for climbing, but not often. Black edition looks pretty sweet.

Use these on my commuter (road set-up). Love 'em. Ride everyday, no flats.

Not the lightest tire, they are bombproof.

Been riding these for years, moved to 28mm size for more comfortable feel. A bit heavy but good puncture resistance and sturdy, lasting tread, a very good tire.

Sure it's a bit heavier than the 5000, but the added weight beats a puncture tire change

Good reliable training tire, handles winter roads well. Little on the heavy side but unless you are a pro these are more than adequate even for harder, faster rides.

Very good quality, and size and weight vs price. Hard to punch it if you use the correct pressure.
