No flats for years.
Review by Russ
Like the wire bead. Harder to get on than folding tires , but sidewall stands up longer , especially after a few flats. If you ride you are going to get flats. This tire lasted the longest last season of the three different brands I tried. So I got another set (on sale) to start the spring

Been riding these since late 80's early 90's.. best road tire out there, for non touring, just buy 'em... in my humble opinion

I ride on city streets to get to the bike path which is my primary riding since I'm retired. I wanted durability and a smoother ride. These tires did not disappoint me. The ride is a soft feel but seem to roll nicely without much resistance. Perfect tire for my needs.

Really works great on the road and rail trail.

I've been a Gatorskin user for at least 2 decades. The wire bead tires are not flexible enough for my aging hands. I will go back to the folding ones the next purchase. They wear wonderfully once they're on.

I have been a long time continental tire user. They continue to be durable, great ride feel, and good looking too. The roads are ok, it's Louisiana so they will always be rough.

I was introduced to Gatorskins by a fellow cyclist. I formerly bought the cheapest tires and ended up paying more ultimately in flats and reduced cycling time. They are now my go to tire.

This a tough and stable training tire. For me it is an every day tire for my road bike, allowing me to bike on less than ideal surfaces without worrying about getting a flat. Some complain about the difficulty of mounting the tire, due to its rather stiff wire bead. Well it is difficult to mount, but that is fine by me, since once on the rim these tires are very stable and secure.

We ride a tandem with 700x32 and have run these until the dots are gone never have had a flat

Gatorskins are worth the extra price for the promised reliability and sturdiness.
I'm hard on my tires and hope they will live up to their reputation.

These tires seem far superior to others in this price range. Durable and damage resistant.

Great tire for country roads and gravel, anywhere one might have an increased chance of flats. The Gatorskins make for worry-free riding if flats are a concern. They aren't the fastest tires around; the GP5000s are quite a bit faster and also pretty robust. These tires are built for puncture resistance and meet that objective. BTD had an excellent price as well.

Maybe just bad luck? Punctured my front tire on my second ride. No debris or anything left in the tire not sure if it was caused by glass, very small pinhole. I was a little disappointed, but will update after I have a chance to ride them longer.

No flat tire, yet

Gatorskins is my tire of choice and since gravel across roadways prone to flooding during moderate to heavy rains is a concern, I need a tire that will hold up to these conditions. I have only ever had one issue which is a wite had lodged itself into the tire and it took me several flat tubes to locate the little devil

I have used Gatorskins over 10 Years and never had a flat due to road debris.

I have used these tires for years. As an avid cyclist, I go through about two sets a year. They have great traction in all conditions and with the small divots, I know when to replace them.
