When considering this merino wool base layer, I was concerned about how warm it would be on cold cycling days, how it would manage perspiration, and whether it would require an additional layer on rides below 40F. I found that the merino wool manages temperatures well--not too warm, not too cold--and has been an excellent base layer on rides between 39F and 54F. The temperature determines which layer goes on top of this base layer, but all my rides with this merino wool top have been warm and comfortable. I'd purchase this top again and would recommend it to others.
For value, this product is not cheap, but it performs as advertised.

Love this base layer, but it already has a small hole. My Girlfriend is going to fix it for me. It's so snug and warm. It's my favorite by far. Planning on getting another one soon. ??
